    Description
    Under supervision, provides secretarial, administrative and clerical support to an assigned Assistant Division Director, Bureau Chief, or organizational equivalent; types correspondence and reports, prepares letters on routine matters, provides requested information to internal and external customers, maintains a schedule of appointments and the daily engagement calendar of the executive official; utilizes various information systems for daily work assignments used by the agency, office, or related units; does other related duties as required..

    Specific to the Position
    The candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the State Park and State Historic Sites Administrators by managing electronic calendars, scheduling meetings, answering phones, taking messages, responding to or forwarding calls and emails to appropriate staff, and coordinating mail and email communications. Responsibilities also include collecting and organizing information, drafting responses to constituent referrals, preparing correspondence, and performing general office support tasks such as filing and data entry. May perform other duties as needed.

    Requirements
    EXPERIENCE:
    One (1) year of experience in a business or government agency providing administrative duties and support for program. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Teams.

    License
    Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
