    JOB DUTIES: Shall be responsible for, but is not limited to:

    Job Description:

    Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit

    The Nursing Department is responsible for providing 24-hour nursing care to patients at every stage of life, diagnosis, physical and mental condition.     Job Description:

This unit serves individuals who have been involved with the legal system and are deemed to have mental health needs requiring specialized care and evaluation.Admission Unit: The Admission Unit is the area where patients are formally admitted, transferred, or discharged. It manages the administrative and logistical aspects of a patient's entry and exit from the hospital, ensuring a smooth and organized process.     The Unified Government Public Health Department is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join the Personal Health Services Division, with a primary focus on Family Planning/Well Woman services.This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive, client-centered reproductive health care.Key duties include performing physical assessments including sports/work physicals and limited acute care services, providing routine gynecological care including pelvic/breast exams and colposcopy services (training available), prescribing medications, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests within the scope of the clinic setting. The Nurse Practitioner will also contribute to the development of clinical protocols and procedures and provide patient education on a range of health topics, including pregnancy options counseling.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent time management, and effective organizational and communication skills.     Minimum Qualifications
