Ninyo Evaluating geologic and hydrogeological conditions; Sampling soil, soil gas, and groundwater; Preparing environmental proposals and reports. Duties for this position also include providing technical support to staff-level engineers, geologists, and field technicians. Qualifications : Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. Certification: California PE or PG licensure REQUIRED; Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER training required. Other certifications and registrations a plus. Stormwater QSD certification strongly preferred. Required Skills : 10+ years of experience performing most or all of the tasks listed above (at least 5 years of project management experience). Candidate must also have solid base writing skills, effective inter-communication skills, and ability to work with and support teams as well as ability to work independently when required. Also must have proficiency with Word and Excel. Candidates should have additional experience in managing projects and budgets, manage clients and client relationships, oversee subcontractors and project staff, mentor junior staff, and preparation of technical proposals and report deliverables. The ideal candidate will bring local experience and familiarity with the geologic and engineering practice and a strong knowledge of state and federal regulations. The candidate should be a team player, be detail oriented, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with construction activities is also desired.
