    Role Overview:
    We are seeking a seasoned and passionate Ubiquiti UniFi Network & ICT Systems Technician who is, in our eyes, a true “Unifi Networking wizard.” If you live and breathe Ubiquiti technology—with deep hands-on experience across the entire UI product line—and can lead complete network and ICT system overhauls, we want to talk to you. In this role, you will serve as the technical lead for on-premise network and wireless equipment installations while integrating advanced Protect and Access systems into a single, cohesive solution. You’ll direct teams on projects that range from 40 to 200 UI devices and collaborate with low-voltage wiring technicians to deliver flawless deployments in healthcare, hospitality, corporate, and religious settings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Serve as the on-site technical lead for complex ICT system overhauls and new installations at newly constructed facilities, typically lasting up to 10 days per project.Spearhead the deployment and installation of 40–200 Ubiquiti devices per project, ensuring that every installation meets the highest standards of performance and integration.Act as the “Unifi Networking wizard” by troubleshooting intricate network issues and applying innovative solutions that optimize network efficiency and reliability.

    System Integration & Network Architecture:

    Oversee and implement full-scale network integration for UniFi Network, Access, Protect, and Connect product lines.Integrate additional ICT systems such as nurse call/wander management, distributed IP audio, dvLED video walls, digital signage, voice and video conferencing, IP-based AV distribution, and lighting systems seamlessly into the UniFi PoE network.Lead technical reviews, site assessments, and planning sessions to ensure that system designs are robust and future-proof.

    Client Engagement & Consultation:

    Work directly with multi-site healthcare, hospitality, corporate, and religious organization customers to assess their unique requirements and tailor comprehensive network solutions.Provide expert consultation and strategic guidance during initial project scoping, ensuring clients fully understand the capabilities and advantages of the new UniFi Everything platform.Team Collaboration & Mentorship:Collaborate with low-voltage wiring technicians (2–4 per project) and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth physical installations and seamless integration.Mentor junior network engineers and technicians, sharing best practices, advanced troubleshooting techniques, and your unmatched passion for Ubiquiti systems.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and deploying Ubiquiti UniFi products, with proven expertise across the entire UniFi product line.Demonstrable history of leading end-to-end network and ICT system deployments in demanding environments.

    Technical Proficiency:

    Deep networking knowledge including LAN/WAN design, PoE systems, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.Expertise in configuring and managing Ubiquiti UniFi Network, Access, Protect, and Connect systems.Ability to integrate diverse systems—from nurse call and wander management to digital signage and IP-based AV distribution—into a single, unified network.Familiarity with advanced network security protocols, quality of service (QoS), and best practices for network architecture.

    Certifications & Education:

    Relevant industry certifications are a plus (e.g., Ubiquiti certifications, CCNA/CCNP, or similar networking credentials).Formal education is secondary to proven technical prowess; however, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

    Qualifications

    Position Overview

    The Nurse Call Systems Sales Executive is responsible for expanding Nexus’s footprint in the healthcare and senior living markets by driving sales of Jeron Pro-Alert 480/790 and RCare wireless nurse call platforms. This role goes beyond selling equipment — it’s about designing workflow-driven life-safety communication systems that directly impact patient outcomes, caregiver response times, and facility efficiency.

    You’ll consult with healthcare administrators, DONs, and facility managers to identify needs, craft compliant solutions, and deliver long-term managed service contracts under the Nexus360 Life Safety Platform — a subscription-based approach that includes system design, installation, monitoring, and lifecycle support.

    The Product: Jeron & RCare Systems

    1. Jeron Pro-Alert Systems (Hardwired)

    UL 1069-listed nurse call platform designed for hospitals, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities.

    Offers direct bedside-to-staff communication, code call escalation, and zone annunciation.

    Integrates seamlessly with wired infrastructure, dome lights, duty stations, and wireless phones.

    Ideal for facilities requiring reliable, low-latency wired signaling with future expansion paths to VoIP and SIP integrations.

    2. RCare Wireless Systems

    Advanced UL 2560-certified wireless nurse call system for senior living, independent living, and assisted living communities.

    Provides real-time location tracking, mobile alerts, reporting analytics, and integrations with wander management and EHR platforms.

    Highly customizable — suitable for retrofits, expansions, or new builds.

    Enables a “Care-as-a-Service” model when bundled with Nexus360 monitoring and support.

    3. Nexus360 Managed Life Safety

    Subscription-based model covering installation, preventive maintenance, cloud monitoring, and 24/7 support.

    Core Responsibilities

    Sales & Business Development

    Identify, develop, and close new opportunities in healthcare and senior living markets for Jeron and RCare nurse call systems.

    Conduct site surveys and facility assessments using System Surveyor, coordinating with engineering to design customized life-safety solutions.

    Generate proposals and manage quoting through QuoteWerks, Zoho CRM, and QuoteValet for client presentation and acceptance.

    Build long-term managed service contracts for monitoring, maintenance, and compliance support under Nexus360.

    Engage with architects, GCs, and MEP engineers for new construction and renovation projects.

    Maintain relationships with AHJs, state health inspectors, and facility compliance officers to ensure systems meet all regulatory requirements.

    Client Engagement & Solution Consulting

    Educate clients on UL 1069 and UL 2560 compliance requirements and the operational differences between Jeron and RCare systems.

    Present ROI analyses showing how proactive life-safety systems improve staffing efficiency and resident satisfaction.

    Conduct in-person product demos and walkthroughs with key decision-makers and clinical staff.

    Collaborate with Nexus field operations for seamless implementation and ongoing service support.

    Collaboration & Process Management

    Coordinate with engineering, project management, and operations for accurate scope, design documentation, and cost estimation.

    Work closely with marketing to produce vertical-specific collateral, case studies, and proposal templates.

    Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, opportunity stages, and project documentation in Zoho CRM.

    Participate in trade shows, healthcare summits, and association meetings (e.g., LeadingAge, HFMA, ASHE) to expand market presence.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    Total project revenue closed per quarter (target: $500K+).

    Managed service contract revenue (target: $10K+ MRR by Q4).

    Proposal-to-close ratio (≥30%).

    Gross margin (≥35% blended).

    Market penetration: new facility accounts and repeat business.

    Client satisfaction and retention rate (95%+).

    Qualifications

    Required

    3+ years of experience in healthcare technology, low-voltage systems, or nurse call sales.

    Strong knowledge of Jeron or RCare (or equivalent nurse call systems).

    Understanding of healthcare workflows, nurse call compliance standards, and system integration.

    Experience working with architects, GCs, and healthcare administrators.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    Proficiency with CRM (Zoho preferred), CPQ tools (QuoteWerks), and construction documentation platforms.

    Preferred

    Background in healthcare technology integration or nurse call system design.

    Familiarity with UL 1069, UL 2560, NFPA 99, and state licensing requirements.

    Experience with System Surveyor, Bluebeam, or AutoCAD layouts.

    Compensation & Growth Path

    Base Salary: $70,000–$100,000 (DOE)

    Commission: Uncapped, based on project margin + recurring managed service revenue

    OTE: $130,000–$180,000+ potential
