About the position
Citizen Action is looking to add a temporary canvasser to our Western New York team. The canvass position focuses on going door-to-door in low income communities and communities of color in order to activate community members on the issues of affordability and universal child care. This position will report to the Canvass and Mobilization Director.
What youll do and the impact you'll make
Go door to door multiple times a week for a total of 10 hours per week.Invite people interested in the organization to join, record responses of community members and track data.Identify community members for follow up by organizers based on their interest in our campaignConsistently meet quotas for door to door work and recruitmentAny other duties as required by your supervisorSkills/Qualifications
