WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Install and activate cable television, broadband internet, and phone servicesPerform new service installations, reconnects, upgrades, and service transfersTroubleshoot service interruptions and diagnose connectivity issuesInstall and configure modems, routers, converters, and cable boxesRun and secure interior and exterior wiringRelocate and install cable outlets and network connectionsEducate customers on equipment operation and service featuresEnsure proper signal levels and service qualityFollow company safety standards and installation proceduresComplete assigned service work orders and installation requestsProvide exceptional customer service during every installation visitExperience operating the following equipment is highly valued:
Coaxial cable installation toolsSignal testing equipmentModems and routersCable converters and receiversNetwork wiring toolsSmart home connectivity devicesWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Previous experience installing satellite TV, broadband internet, or telecom systems preferredHigh School Diploma / GED preferredExperience in telecommunications, cable installation, internet installation, or technical field service preferredSales or customer service experience a plusComfortable working outdoors and in customers’ homesAbility to lift and carry up to 80 pounds regularlyAbility to work 5–6 days per week including evenings and weekendsMust pass background check and pre-employment drug screeningValid driver's licenseWORK HOURS & LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:
This is a field-based role requiring full-time travel to customer locations, within a <100-mile service area around Detroit, MichiganThe typical schedule is 40-50 hours per week, including weekends as needed.WORK AUTHORIZATION REQUIREMENTS:
