    POSITION PURPOSE

    This position will be responsible for the mechanical integrity inspection program and providing maintenance and reliability engineering support to the Morses Mill (Linden, NJ) site. The position will lead programs and projects that improve asset reliability, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance overall equipment performance across the site.



    PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):


    Reliability Engineering & Asset PerformanceProvide technical leadership on monitoring/inspecting of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation/control systems to enhance reliabilityDefine condition monitoring requirements and lead Predictive and Preventive Maintenance programs

    Inspection, Compliance & Mechanical Integrity

    Oversee inspections in accordance with API 510, API 570, and API 653 standards Ensure inspection program is in compliance with RAGAGEP and OSHA 1910.119 (PSM) requirementsManage and implement corrosion monitoring programs (e.g., PSAIM®) Ensure all inspection and repair activities are properly documented per regulatory and corporate MIQA standards

    Documentation & Reporting

    Develop and maintain standardized inspection and maintenance plans Review post-inspection reports with actionable short- and long-term recommendations;track recommendations to closureMaintain and update equipment inspection history, and inspection plans within SAP and site systems Track and report reliability and MIQA metrics

    Repair, Maintenance & Field Support

    Develop and document repair plans for fixed equipment Oversee/Coordinate maintenance activities, repair execution, and equipment installation to ensure quality and compliance Perform field contract administration for repairs and inspection services

    Quality Assurance & Technical Oversight

    Ensure QA/QC plans ITPs are developed for new equipment fabrication and installation Coordinate quality inspections at vendor shops and onsite Review NDE results and determine required actions, track required actions to closure Perform engineering calculations such as, minimum allowable thickness, remaining useful life

    Project & Program Management

    Coordinate contract inspection and NDE activities, including field execution oversightIdentify, plan, and execute reliability improvement and site improvement projects Lead minor capital projects and support Management of Change (MOC) processes Participate in design reviews to recommend reliability improvements

    Safety & Leadership

    Ensure all equipment and activities meet safety and environmental compliance standards Serve as a member of the Process Safety Management (PSM) Committee with focus on Mechanical Integrity and Quality AssuranceParticipate in corporate MIQA network, contribute to development of programs, and lead implementation at the Borderland site.


    Qualifications

    In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:

    Education/Experience/BackgroundBachelor's degree (B.S.) in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical Engineering preferred)Minimum 2 years relative experience working in/on Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance programs or in Maintenance SupervisionMinimum 2 years' experience within high hazardous chemical processing or oil refining industries or similar industries

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    Working knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM)Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, preventive and predictive maintenance technologies, and condition monitoring and fixed time maintenance strategiesExperience working within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).  SAP Experience is preferredWillingness to be available and on call 24/7 as needed due to business conditionsOther preferred skillsFamiliarity with national standards such as API 510 & 570 & 653, ASME B31.1 & B31.3, NBIC, NACE SP 0294, RTP-1Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing methods such as Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Thermal/Infrared Testing (TIR), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Vibration Analysis Testing (VA), etc.Familiarity with various welding techniquesFamiliarity with metallic and non-metallic fixed equipmentExperience working with Highly Hazardous Chemicals/High Hazard ProcessManufacturing experience which includes exposure to Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement systems and toolsDemonstrated collaborative problem solving, excellent planning and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills and teamworkStrong analytical skillsProactive problem solving and utilization of data in a timely manner10% travel

    Required Certification/License/Training

    Current and valid driver’s licenseCurrently have or able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
