    Job Summary

    NexGen is currently seeking a Drupal Developer to perform development/maintenance of both current and future Drupal applications written using Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP) technology stack. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, creative, highly motivated, and goal-oriented team player with 5+ years of Drupal development experience within the LAMP stack, strong knowledge of MySQL databases, and working knowledge of the Linux platform.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (as assigned)

    Establish websites (to include theming), utilizing unified architecture and design, in a cloud environment.Developing/enhancing Drupal Modules. Migrate content from previous version(s) of websites.Drupal troubleshooting, user administration, development tasks, support requests, and CMS add-ons.Other duties may be assigned. 

     

    Technical Skills

    Minimum 5+ years of experience in design, development, and support of Web development in Drupal. 5 + years of experience in complete life cycle of design, development, deployment, and support of a web application.Expert level knowledge of Drupal development and Drupal system maintenance.Expert-level PHP programming experience.Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, XML, and DOM. Working knowledge of Linux, MySQL, and Git. Knowledge of Drupal multisite configuration and ability to work with sites using this configuration. Knowledge of Relational Database Concepts and ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries 

     

    Desired Skills

    ·      Experience with Open Public distribution

     

    Additional Requirements

    Accurately and effectively communicate with the Project Manager and/or Team Lead the level of effort to implement proposed solutions, the status of on-going work, and any potential issues. Work well in both a team environment as well as a sole contributor with little or no supervision. Possess excellent time management skills in handling multiple priorities with individual deadlines. Adapt to a rapidly changing environment and work creatively with minimal supervision. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will also be able to pass background screening prior to employment. US Citizenship, or legal permanent residence, or US work authorization with minimum 3 years of US presence is required due to federal contract requirements.

     

    Education

    ·      Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related technical field.


    Physical Requirements

    Compensation: $35–$55/hour

    Job Summary The Cloud Integration Architect provides strategic and technical leadership to guide current and future customer plans related to cloud technologies. This role requires deep knowledge of emerging information technology trends, cloud modernization patterns, and enterprise‑scale architecture practices. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud architecture solutions supporting both immediate mission needs and long-term cross‑functional requirements across federal environments. 

     

    This position handles complex architectural challenges including scalability, high availability, redundancy, and multi‑bureau expansion. The role also leads phased discovery and planning efforts, ensuring alignment with enterprise governance, data standards, and modernization roadmaps. 

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (as assigned) 

    Cloud Strategy & Leadership 

    Provides leadership and subject matter expertise on current and future customer cloud strategies, modernization plans, and enterprise technology direction. Advises stakeholders on cloud trends, emerging technologies, and long-range IT architecture considerations. Translates mission, business, and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable cloud architecture solutions. 

     

    Architecture Design & Implementation 

    Designs end-to-end cloud architectures encompassing software, hardware, networking, and communications layers. Ensures architectures support total system requirements, including cross‑functional interfaces, integration points, and future scalability. Develops solutions that incorporate high availability, redundancy, disaster recovery, and performance optimization. Leads the design and implementation of cloud services, infrastructure patterns, and reusable architecture components. Develops and maintains data dictionaries, metadata standards, and data classification models. Leads cross‑bureau expansion of cloud architecture solutions, ensuring interoperability, governance alignment, and consistent implementation across organizational boundaries. 

     

    Technical Governance & Integration 

    Ensures architectural compliance with federal security, data management, and cloud governance requirements. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to validate architecture decisions, integration patterns, and modernization roadmaps. Provides technical oversight during implementation, ensuring solutions meet design intent and performance expectations. Other duties as assigned. 

     

    Required Skills 

    Experience in designing and implementing cloud architecture solutions (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP) for information technology.  Knowledge of the future direction and trends associated with information technology.  Demonstrated experience designing and implementing cloud architecture solutions for enterprise information technology environments. Strong understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure services, and modern application architectures. Knowledge of emerging IT trends, cloud adoption patterns, and future‑state technology planning. Experience architecting for scalability, high availability, redundancy, and distributed systems. Ability to lead discovery, planning, and classification activities in complex federal or multi‑bureau environments. 

     

    Desired Skills 

    Experience supporting federal agencies or multi‑bureau modernization initiatives. Familiarity with enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data dictionary development. Experience leading phased modernization efforts, including discovery, planning, and cross‑organization expansion. Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) or enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, FEAF). 

     

    Education 

    Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, engineering, or a related field. 

     

    Additional Requirements

    Job Summary 

    NexGen Technologies is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect to serve as a Key Personnel role and the single point of technical authority for a federal civilian program initiative. This position is responsible for end-to-end architectural ownership of the Azure platform, ensuring consistent, secure, and scalable technical design across all delivery teams and phases of the program. 


    The Enterprise Solutions Architect performs advanced, nonmanual professional work requiring the consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment in defining platform architecture, governing cross team technical decisions, and ensuring alignment with federal security and compliance requirements. This role is government facing and works directly with federal stakeholders to provide architectural leadership, technical roadmap guidance, risk management, and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) oversight. Strong experience with AI enabled systems is required to ensure the architecture fully supports AI centric capabilities embedded throughout the solution. 


    There are no formal supervisory responsibilities. This position exercises architectural authority and technical governance across multiple teams without direct personnel management. 


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (as assigned) 

    Serve as the single point of technical authority for the solution’s Azure platform, owning and directing end-to-end solution architecture across all system layers. Define, govern, and enforce platform architecture standards, design patterns, and technical guardrails to ensure consistency, scalability, security, and performance across all delivery teams. Exercise cross team design authority, reviewing, approving, and directing architectural decisions that impact platform integrity and long-term sustainability. Lead architecture planning and define the technical roadmap in alignment with program objectives, delivery phases, and government priorities. Own and direct architecture components supporting Assessment & Authorization (ATO/IATO) activities, ensuring system design fully aligns with federal security, compliance, and audit requirements. Serve as the government facing technical authority, leading architectural discussions, tradeoff analysis, and risk mitigation with federal stakeholders. Identify, assess, and manage architectural and technical risks, directing corrective actions and design adjustments as needed. Design and govern platform architecture to support AI enabled capabilities, including integration of AI services, data pipelines, and AI orchestration components. Direct coordination with security, DevSecOps, AI/ML, and delivery leadership to ensure integrated execution of the architectural vision. Lead technical governance activities, including architectural reviews, executive briefings, and formal decision documentation. Perform other duties as assigned. 

     

    Required Skills 

    Minimum of ten years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles supporting federal civilian systems. Demonstrated experience serving as a technical authority for large, multiteam government platforms. Strong experience architecting and governing solutions hosted in Azure environments. Experience supporting or leading ATO/IATO processes from an architectural perspective. Federal program or project management experience, including direct engagement with government stakeholders. Strong risk management, communication, and technical leadership skills. 


    Desired Skills 

    Preferred certification: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Experience architecting or governing AI enabled, data driven systems in production environments. Strong understanding of AI platform services, AI integration patterns, and AI governance considerations.Experience supporting federal civilian agencies.Experience operating within Agile or scaled Agile delivery environments. 


    Education
