Fabrication Technician – Electrical Experience | Las Vegas, NV
Nexeo is seeking a Fabrication Technician with Electrical Experience to support a leading manufacturer of overhead material handling cranes and lifting equipment. This hybrid role combines fabrication, machine operation, mechanical aptitude, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
If you have strong fabrication experience, hands-on electrical knowledge, and enjoy working in a fast-paced industrial environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing team.
Responsibilities
Operate fabrication machinery including saws, press brakes, grinders, and metal-working toolsPerform basic electrical troubleshooting on fabrication equipment and production machineryAssist with wiring systems, electrical components, and machine-level electrical tasksSupport general mechanical and fabrication duties as neededMaintain safe working practices while meeting production and quality standardsCollaborate with the maintenance and fabrication team to ensure smooth equipment operationQualifications
Fabrication experience requiredMinimum of 3 years of basic electrical knowledge (not a full electrician role)Strong mechanical aptitudeExperience using fabrication tools and equipmentAbility to read measurements, follow schematics, and troubleshoot basic issuesDependable, safety-focused, and able to work independentlyPay
$24.50 per hour

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of experience repairing or refurbishing electronic or electromechanical devices (medical devices, PCBs, consumer electronics, etc.)
• Strong mechanical/electronic aptitude with proven hands-on problem-solving ability; hobby or DIY repair experience is valued
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with QA, engineering, and customer service teams on investigations and corrective actions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to update or modify process documentation
• Basic computer skills and experience with device-tracking systems or databases (e.g., Oracle or similar)
