    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    Lead high-impact real estate projects-from office transformations and tenant improvements to site enhancements-ensuring they meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations. As the primary contact for our Cupertino-based tech client, you will manage all contracted services, including architectural, engineering, construction, and relocation (furniture procurement and installation).     Essential Job Duties:
    Oversee all related contracted services including architectural, engineering, construction and relocation services (including furniture procurement and installation). Monitor all phases of a project and promptly address any changes to the original scope of services and the impact to the project schedule and budget. Continually assess project needs and resources available to complete the project successfully. Take corrective actions as warranted, and integrating related functions such as Facilities Management, IS, Multimedia, Mail Services, Copier Services, Amenities and Security and any required base building trades. Providing and/or reviewing the accuracy of project materials. Work with the management and client to determine project budgets. Make determinations and provide recommendations addressing new project schedules and/or feasibility of pre-determined schedules. Implement Newmark standards throughout all projects. Provide accurate project documentation and record maintenance throughout the project. Maintain all historical data on projects for future projections and project budgeting. Organize and lead all project meetings - inclusive of any necessary vendors and/or subcontractors. Perform related work as required to ensure projects are completed as proposed to management and the client. May perform other duties as assigned.     The Newmark Debt, Equity & Structured Finance team is looking to bring on an Analyst to join the New York office with a primary focus on hospitality transactions. The group is comprised of a deep team of real estate investment banking professionals from various real estate equity and finance backgrounds. The Analyst will be joining the preeminent team in the market that has executed over $180 billion of transactions since 2019, including more than $21 billion of hotel transactions.

    The Debt & Structured Finance team is focused on the placement of debt and equity capital for commercial real estate investors. While the broader team executes transactions across all property types, including office, retail, industrial, data centers, and alternative assets throughout North America, the Analyst will primarily support the team's hospitality practice, which advises on hotel property and portfolio/platform level transactions. Analysts are involved in every stage of a transaction including underwriting, market research, property tours, preparation of pitch materials and offering memoranda, marketing of transactions, term sheet negotiations, closings, and client meetings and events. The position will be based in-office and work in a high-energy and fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    Primary Responsibilities

    Prepare pitch materials and offering memoranda for commercial real estate transactions, including research, financial modeling, and writing transaction narratives.
    Responsible for complex financial modeling of property level cash flows and debt/equity structures utilizing market information, appraisals, and comparable data to quickly and accurately underwrite a variety of transactions.
    Must review and understand relevant documents (financial statements, loan documents, joint venture agreements, appraisals, etc.) to quickly identify relevant information.
    Network within the industry through meetings, events and involvement in real estate trade organizations.
    Participate in weekly pipeline meetings to discuss deal flow, deal status, market conditions and review new client leads.

    Qualifications

    Experience Required

    0-2 years of hospitality real estate experience (capital markets, acquisitions, development, asset management) in an analytically rigorous environment. Real estate investment banking or commercial real estate lending/investing experience is preferred.
    Hospitality finance background (including specific experience with hotel P&L's and STR reports) and good understanding of appraisal and valuation principles.
    Self-motivated, team oriented, and strong time management skills to prioritize tight deadlines.
    Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information.
    Ability to be proactive, anticipate demands and accomplish tasks with minimal direction and oversight.

    The expected base salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $150,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).

    Job Description

    Under close supervision, the Mail Clerk will be responsible for the basic administration of incoming and outgoing mail, using both manual and automated methods.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Job Duties:
    Collects, receives, sorts and delivers incoming, outing and interdepartmental mail.Handles all shipping needs such as FedEx/UPS, to ensure adherence to proper size, weight, postage and other postal requirements.Audits delivered items with delivery invoices. Approves or rejects deliveries based on inspections.Examines outgoing mail for appearance and seals, applies appropriate postage amounts and stamps envelopes by hand or postage machine.Ensures all shipped packages are adequately protected against damage.Checks mail and postage supplies on a regular basis and replenishes, if necessary.Availability for flexible hours if needed. Including evening and weekend hours.May be responsible for ordering office supplies.Delivers paper cases to designated copier/fax machines.May perform other duties as assigned
    Qualifications

    Skills, Education and Experience:
    High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) requiredGeneral working knowledge of business environmentGood communication, customer service skills, organizational and follow-up skills
    Salary: $15/hr. - $18/hr.
