R&Ds involve additional compensation that is designed to increase your income and to reimburse for any reasonable and necessary expenses we do not otherwise reimburse. This Financial Services Professional opportunity is based out of Edison, NJ and begins with a structured training, licensing, and development process. Candidates selected for the interview process will meet with our Executive Partner, who has been with New York Life for 29 years and has helped develop many individuals throughout his career.
In this role, selected candidates would build relationships with individuals, families, and business owners while developing the skills needed for a long-term career in financial services. The career path includes licensing support, mentorship, professional development, and consideration for future leadership opportunities for qualified individuals.

How we will compensate you:
You have the power to drive your own income with our commission-based compensation. The average income of our agents under the N8 and N9 Agents’ Contracts who met annual minimum sales production requirements in 2023 was $117,359.7 In that same year, the average income of the top 50 of those agents was $1.68M. Benefits for eligible full-time agents include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), and a pension.
