    We're searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our dedicated Energy Support Services team. This is an entry-level role and a fantastic opportunity to learn about the rapidly growing renewable energy industry while making a significant impact with a great team. In this pivotal position, you'll be essential in the daily monitoring and management of energy assets, ensuring peak performance and seamless communication between our clients and field personnel. This is a fully remote position, offering excellent flexibility, with the expectation of quarterly visits to one of our office locations. .
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.Analyze alerts and system performance across all monitoring and asset management software.Comply with portfolio requirements for monitoring and field dispatch.Demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce Drive O&M (CMMS) functions.Accurately create new work orders and provide timely updates in CMMS.Communicate with clients in a professional manner for required work task approvals.Coordinate with and assist field teams with onsite troubleshooting.Field phone calls and log corresponding entries in CMMS.Perform SEL relay remote communication and event retrieval.Perform various tracker system remote operations.Manage transfer of information between Data Acquisition Systems (DAS), CMMS, and ESS data room.Participate in client meetings as required.Manage and maintain ESS file structure and workflow functions.Attend Quarterly in person meetings in coordination with respective Manager.Attend relevant technical training and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.Ability to work flexible schedules as required to support business needs or seasonality.Additional responsibilities as requested.QUALIFICATIONS:Able to work independently and take direction.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Ability to work as part of a team.Excellent written/verbal communication skills.High attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe and Outlook and proven ability to learn new software programs.

    The expected annual compensation range for this position is $40,000-$45,000, encompassing base pay, potential incentive target opportunity, and additional commission eligibility. This range is a good faith estimate based on the position's requirements. Specific compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary depending on factors such as relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.     New Energy Equity is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales. This role is pivotal in driving site control efforts for our expanding portfolio of community solar projects and fostering relationships to enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record managing successful land origination teams, with experience in solar or energy a plus. This position demands strategic thinking, using data to drive results, and the ability to motivate and build a successful lease origination team. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to influence company-wide growth strategies, collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments, and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. At New Energy Equity, youll help shape the future of clean energy while contributing to a collaborative and innovative company culture.
    Responsibilities:

    Sales and Business Development Using Salesforce, track conversation rates throughout the closing cycle and set targets for the land team.
    Map and track the landowner customer journey.
    Gather information from both current and former landowners, including where we have successfully and unsuccessfully secured leases, to inform strategy and enhance effectiveness obtaining site control.
    Work collaboratively with marketing to design and roll out creative marketing initiatives to bring in new leads.
    Monitor and expand the pipeline of community solar sites in key markets.
    Assist with forecast of revenue on a regular basis and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met.
    Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive market penetration within the community solar landscape.
    Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to make informed business decisions related to community solar.
    Work closely with cross-functional teams across the division and across geographies, including product management, engineering, solution engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of goals and execution plans.
    Provide input regarding marketing strategies.

    Land Acquisition
    Steer guidelines, strategy, and negotiating parameters for the land acquisition team, with a focus on optimizing site lease language for New Energy Equity's benefit in community solar projects.
    Manage and lead the land acquisition team to secure site control for the greenfield development of community solar energy projects. Ensure that annual and quarterly land acquisition goals are achieved through effective campaigns completed in a timely manner, with financeable terms and within budget, specifically for community solar initiatives.
    Responsible for reviewing market research and assessing areas that the company should focus on for further development within the community solar market.
    Ensure effective acquisition campaigns are crafted, including GIS identification of prospective sites, landowner outreach, and on-site meetings, tailored to community solar project needs.
    Collaborate cross-departmentally to achieve implementation of acquisition campaigns, lease approvals, and project closings, with a focus on incorporating favorable site lease terms for community solar projects.
    Communicate effectively with landowners to successfully secure site control through lease and/or option contracts (in-person, phone, email), ensuring that New Energy Equity's site lease language is a key component of negotiations for community solar sites.
    Maintain long-term relationships with landowners, culminating in successfully developed community solar projects with strong site lease agreements.
    Support other internal Land Agents to identify and overcome difficult market conditions, landowner, and/or attorney negotiations, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes in site lease negotiations for community solar projects.

    Project Development
    Support permitting and development efforts, attending meetings and open houses with key stakeholders.
    Assist in obtaining all documentation necessary for a project to successfully achieve financial investment, construction, and operations, including estoppels, waivers, releases, easements, and lease amendments.
    Assist in clearing title curatives under the guidance of the internal Legal and Real Estate Team

    Reporting and Communication
    Communicate with leadership, reporting on campaign response rates, negotiation status, and outstanding tasks on a recurring basis.
    Responsible for sharing market intelligence and conditions.
    Manage budgets for acquisition campaigns across all markets.Qualifications:
    Strong experience with Salesforce and using data-driven analytics to increase sales output.
    Proven experience in land acquisition and sales, with a focus on community solar projects.
    Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in sales leadership roles within the energy sector, with a specific emphasis on solar.
    Demonstrated success in leading and managing high-performing teams focused on land acquisition and energy market development.
    Extensive experience in negotiating complex land agreements, leases, and contracts, with a deep understanding of site lease language and its implications in the context of community solar projects.
    Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the community solar segment.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess market data, identify opportunities, and make informed business decisions within the community solar market.
    Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to land acquisition, with a deep understanding of site lease language and its implications.
    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred

    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:
    This position is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of safety for Energy Support Services (ESS) operations and maintenance activities and general New Energy Equity (NEE) Safety oversight. The Health and Safety Officer will ensure that all field operations are conducted in strict compliance with OSHA regulations, industry best practices, and company safety protocols. This role requires a deep understanding of OSHA workplace safety regulations, utility connected solar PV and BESS systems, hazardous energy control, and hazard mitigation strategies.The Health and Safety Officer will work closely with technicians, subcontractors, and management to create and maintain a safe working environment for all aspects of NEE and ESS operations. The role is also responsible for managing broader NEE safety programs and culture, including interfacing with the ALLETE Safety team. This position is based out of our Annapolis, Maryland office or our Roseville, Minnesota office. The current requirement is a minimum of three days per week in office; however that may well change to five days at any time. Minimum Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.Five years of Professional experience.Specific training and certifications: Board of Certified Safety Professionals Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certificate and OSHA 30 Certificate are required; National Fire Protection Association Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) Certificate is preferred.Minimum of 5 years utility or industrial electrical safety experience. Previous management experience preferred
    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Safety Program Development & Implementation:Oversee, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety program for all field-based Solar O&M activities.Ensure that Energy Support Services (ESS) and New Energy Equity (NEE) safety programs are current with and adhere to all applicable OSHA regulations and industry best practices.Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees covering topics such as lockout/tagout procedures, electrical safety, fall protection, and other safety related matters, such as: CPR, first aid, arc flash, lifting & rigging, mobile equipment, safe driving, and firefighting.Maintain and manage ESS Safety rating in contractor qualification systems, including Veriforce, Avetta, and ISNetworld.Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive safety program for all in-office ESS and NEE personnel.Analyze safety performance trends and other safety data.Collaborate with ESS leadership to develop and implement training programs, initiatives, or technological solutions to improve safety performance and prevent future incidents.Prepare and deliver quarterly safety updates to the NEE Board on NEE/ESS safety statistics and initiatives, including the creation and submission of a PowerPoint presentation.Conduct safety training for all new ESS and NEE employees.Maintain up-to-date training materials for new employees, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and ALLETE requirements/recommendations.Site Safety Inspections & Audits:Conduct periodic safety inspections and audits of O&M field activity to assess potential hazards and ensure proper safety protocols are being practiced.Evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety controls and recommend improvements.Ensure that all proper safety equipment and PPE is available, in proper working order, and technicians are properly trained in its use.Risk Management & Mitigation:Proactively identify and assess potential safety hazards associated with electrical solar O&M activities.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure ESS does not experience safety incidents and achieves zero OSHA recordables.Oversee the implementation and execution of Human Performance Improvement programIncident Investigation & Reporting:Lead investigations of all safety incidents and near-misses.Identify root causes and contributing factors.Develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence and revise Standard Operating Procedures to reflect lessons learned.Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management.Subcontractor Safety Management:Oversee the safety performance of subcontractors working on ESS approved work.Ensure that subcontractors have appropriate safety programs and training in place.Conduct regular safety observations with subcontractors , address concerns, and promote a shared safety culture.Safety Communication & Training:Communicate regularly with technicians, subcontractors, and management regarding safety performance, concerns, and best practices.Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to reinforce safety protocols and address emerging hazards.Deliver periodic safety briefings and trainings.
