    We are seeking a dedicated part time chef to prepare dinners for our Redding facility. The chef implements menus and coordinates food preparation and serve meals.


    Responsibilities

    Plans and prepares foods in accordance with policies, approved dietary guidelines and recipes/menusPlans individual cooking schedule so that foods for regular and therapeutic menus and special functions will be properly cooked and ready at appropriate times.Follows recipes and portioning procedures for daily menu.Stores and prepares food safelyCleans and inspects equipment, kitchen appliances and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operationTakes inventory of supplies and equipment. Checks and inspects food products and supplies as delivered.


    Qualifications:

    Responsibilities

    Assist healthcare providers with client examinations and procedures.Take and record vital signs and medical histories accurately.Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the medical office environment.Provide exceptional client service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.Maintain accurate client records in compliance with healthcare regulations.Support the medical team in delivering high-quality care to clients.Under supervision of medical staff, monitors, logs, and report detoxification symptoms and/ or significant changes to Director of Nursing, Staff Nurse, or on call MD.Medication pass (controlled and non-controlled)/ observation of self-administration. Physical documentation of controlled medicationsReporting medication errors.Drive vehicles to pick up medications, transport clients, etc.


    Requirements

    Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.Experience in a hospital or urgent care setting is preferred.Strong knowledge of physiology and internal medicine principles.Ability to take vital signs accurately and perform basic medical procedures.Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.Familiarity with X-ray procedures is a plus.

    Responsibilities

    Maintains a positive therapeutic environment.   Complete client intakes across all IOP sites.  Enroll clients in VISTA.  Send regular VISTA audit reports to counselors indicating which clients need follow-up.  Monitor UAs and notify counselors via email when clients are due for testing.  Conduct utilization reviews as needed.  Order and manage program supplies to support daily operations.  Assist with insurance authorizations as needed.  Collects payments, organizes and creates payment plans in EMR and tracks payments by following payment plan approval process.  Ensure client balances are paid in full before discharge, unless an approved payment plan is in place.  Other duties as assigned 


    Qualifications

    Current RADT, SUDRC, CADC or SUDCC is required.  High school diploma or GED.  One or more years' experience in healthcare preferred.  Experience in a high-volume call center preferred.  Knowledge of community resources Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray.  Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.  Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail.  Excellent interpersonal skills.
