What you'll do includes walking and exercising hospitalized and boarding dogs, feeding and monitoring dogs and cats staying in our hospital and kennel, cleaning and disinfecting kennels, cages, runs, and animal housing areas, bathing dogs and cats as needed, maintaining cleanliness throughout the kennel and hospital, observing patients for changes in behavior, appetite, or overall condition and reporting concerns to the medical team, assisting with general hospital support duties as needed, and helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and clients. What you'll bring includes genuine love of animals and commitment to their well-being, excellent communication and teamwork skills, a patient, compassionate, and dependable personality, ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed, comfortable working around dogs and cats of all sizes, ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform the physical duties of the position, strong work ethic and attention to detail, and previous animal care or customer service experience is a plus.
