Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support child developmentCreate a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for all childrenMonitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needsCommunicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development and milestonesCollaborate with fellow educators and staff to support program goals and curriculumMaintain accurate records, attendance, and developmental documentationSupervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor playRequirements:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferredPrior experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education settingKnowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching practicesStrong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staffCurrent CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Ability to pass required background checks and clearances per Pennsylvania state regulationsPatient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood educationAbout Us:New Artisens Childcare is a trusted childcare provider serving the Philadelphia, PA community with a commitment to fostering creativity, growth, and a love of learning in every child.
