Select and apply appropriate non-invasive and invasive monitoring modalities during the perioperative period. Facilitate emergence and recovery, including medication, fluid, and ventilation support. Discharge patients from the post-anesthesia care area and provide follow-up evaluation and care. Respond to emergency situations with airway management and advanced cardiac life support. Collaborate with anesthesiologists to monitor and evaluate quality of patient care; participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Practice within regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, American Society of Anesthesia, ACHA). Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Anesthesiology Assistant Program (ARC-AA). Current Florida Anesthesiologist Assistant license. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
