JOB SUMMARY : Provide detailed drawings of architectural designs according to specifications provided by Director of design/Lead designer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Consult with clients to determine functional requirement of structure.
Create accurate and scaled drawings for construction and estimating.
Project coordination at times.
Resolve architectural and design discrepancies.
Performs other duties as necessary or as requested by management.
COMPETENCIES:
Strong construction background with extensive product knowledge.
Revit, Microsoft Office.
Must be able to drive to customer's location at times.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to foresee problems and advise.
Strong customer service experience requiring negotiation skills.
Ability to multi-task and coordinate with contractors and customers.
Knowledge of local building codes and ordinances.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum education- Associates degree in Interior design, Architecture, or related field.
Use of calculators, scales, computers, printers, copiers, fax, digital cameras, phone systems and credit machines.
Strong Revit skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1 year design experience or equivalent education.
