Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team! As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and management for Software Defined Radio (SDR) development of a Department of War (DoW) Acquisition Category (ACAT) III Program of Record. You will support technical planning, product evolution, feature prioritization, systems integration, and requirements verification. You will work with engineering teams, government stakeholders, and program leadership to manage technical requirements, support feature development, and evaluate system performance.
Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and engineering oversight for SDR development.Lead development and execution of the radio capability roadmap.Manage system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.Coordinate software, hardware, cybersecurity, integration, and test teams.Lead technical reviews and customer meetings.Oversee verification, validation, and operational evaluation.Evaluate system performance during lab, integration, and field testing.Identify technical risks and brief program leadership and government customers.Required QualificationsU.S. Citizen** MUST ** be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.3–5 years of experience with software-defined radios, waveform development, or wireless communications.Understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle.Experience with integration, testing, or evaluation of complex systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Perferred QualificationsMaster's degree in a related technical field.Experience with SDR architectures or waveform implementation.Experience supporting DoW or other government programs.Experience with defense acquisition.Familiarity with Models Based System Engineering (MBSE).Active U.S. security clearance.
