Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Exterior Pest Control Technician, dedicated to safeguarding properties and landscapes from unwanted pests and nuisances. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in pest management, lawn care, and landscaping to create healthier, pest-free environments for our clients. If you thrive on hands-on work, enjoy driving to different sites, and have a passion for outdoor maintenance and customer service, this position is perfect for you! Duties
Conduct thorough exterior inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity and landscape issues.Apply pest control treatments using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring safety and effectiveness.Maintain and operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and landscaping equipment with precision.Assist with lawn care, gardening, and basic farming tasks to enhance property aesthetics and health.Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans, maintenance advice, and pest prevention strategies.Keep detailed records of services performed, treatments applied, and equipment used for each job.Experience
Prior experience in pest control, lawn care, landscaping, farming or agriculture is highly desirable.Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery or landscaping equipment is a plus.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles or trucks is preferred.Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members.Ability to follow safety procedures meticulously when handling chemicals or operating machinery.
