The Project Specialist is an integral member of the TV & Streaming Post Production department located at the NBCUniversal facility in New York City, NY, and will report to the Post Project Manager of Post Production. Associate’s degree or technical school required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or quantity surveying preferred.0-3+ years on-site construction and estimating experience on themed entertainment projects, knowledge of show and ride estimating and facility impacts required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient in estimating take-off software (On-Screen, BidScreenXL, Bluebeam, etc.) requiredProficient in MS Office suite, preparing reports, spreadsheets and presentations.Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the architectural/engineering, show/ride design and construction industry.Strong and effective communicator, both verbally and written, with ability to interface with various company departments, as well as outside vendors and contractorsStrong organizational, analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities/skills. Detail oriented with proven ability to orchestrate and execute multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Proven ability to work independently with little to no direction and maintain a strong focus on business priorities and be persistent in follow-through.
