Job Title: Local Registered Nurse - Days/Night Shift -LTC
Location: Tucson, AZ
Type: Full-Time | Contract
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM / 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Schedule: Alternating 36-hour and 48-hour weeks | Weekend required
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor resident responses within RN scope
• Assess, monitor, and document residents' physical, emotional, and behavioral conditions
• Perform admission assessments and assist with care planning, MDS assessments, and quarterly reviews
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and nursing records
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Supervise and support CNAs and licensed nursing staff when assigned as charge nurse
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) when necessary
• Participate in shift reports, emergency response procedures, and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain a clean, safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment for residents
• Participate in training, quality assurance, and process improvement programs
Required Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Arizona
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
