    Position Summary

    The Analytics Engineer I (Entry-Level) will support Navarro’s Data & Analytics team by helping build and maintain data pipelines, assisting with reporting and dashboarding efforts, and contributing to applied AI projects. This role is well suited for an early-career professional interested in growing into a strong analytics or applied AI contributor, including work involving AI/ML techniques to extract, structure, and validate key information from unstructured documents.

    Responsibilities

    Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources. Support the development of dashboards and reports using Excel and other business intelligence tools. Use Python and/or R to automate data workflows, clean datasets, and perform exploratory analysis. Build and support AI/ML-driven workflows for extracting key text and structured data from documents, including NLP, LLM-based extraction, and OCR plus ML pipelines. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data and applied AI project needs. Help document data models, pipeline logic, and AI/ML workflow processes. Contribute to data quality checks and validation processes for both traditional data and AI-generated outputs.

    Requirements

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Working knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data. Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization. Proficiency in Python and/or R, including experience with relevant ML/AI libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, or similar tools. Hands-on exposure to AI/ML concepts through coursework, projects, or internships, such as text extraction, natural language processing, or document processing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative field. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Familiarity with version control, such as Git, and basic software engineering practices. Experience with LLM-based tools or APIs for document parsing, text extraction, entity recognition, or information extraction. Experience with OCR tools or unstructured document processing, including PDF or text parsing librariesLocal candidates are preferred.

    Position Summary

    Navarro Research & Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer Consultant to serve as the Engineer of Record (EOR) for structural engineering projects supporting Department of Energy (DOE), nuclear, industrial, and government facilities. Provide independent technical oversight and professional engineering approval of structural analyses, calculations, specifications, and design drawings. Independently verify engineering deliverables represent safe, complete, and defensible designs suitable for professional certification.

    Requirements

    Required Licensure

    A current and active Tennessee Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Must maintain Tennessee PE registration in good standing throughout the duration of the assignment. Responsible for sealing engineering documents for Tennessee projects.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Serve as the Engineer of Record (EOR). Review GT STRUDL analytical models, structural calculations, design reports, construction drawings, specifications, design change packages, and design methodologies. Validate loads, load combinations, modeling assumptions, boundary conditions, and design criteria. Review structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, equipment supports, seismic, wind, dynamic, impact, and specialty analyses. Verify compliance with building codes, engineering standards, DOE requirements, and project specifications. Coordinate resolution of technical comments and deficiencies. Provide technical review comments and approval documentation. Stamp and sign engineering documents only after independent verification.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering. Active Tennessee PE license. Minimum of 10 years of structural engineering experience. Engineer of Record or Lead Structural Engineer experience. Advanced GT STRUDL proficiency. Experience reviewing structural calculations and engineering deliverables prepared by others. Extensive experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundation design, finite element analysis, seismic and dynamic analysis. Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC Steel Manual, and ACI 318. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    DOE, NNSA, nuclear, or highly regulated facility experience. NQA-1 independent design verification experience. Technical review experience for GT STRUDL models and finite element analyses. Familiarity with ANSYS, STAAD.Pro, RISA, and Mathcad. Experience with safety-significant or safety-class structures. Previous Engineer of Record experience on industrial, government, or nuclear projects.

    The Electrical Engineer is responsible for assigned activities within the electrical engineering discipline in support of facility design, operation, and maintenance.     The Technical Procedure Writer will support a new nuclear fuel facility by developing, reviewing, and maintaining technical procedures and supporting documentation for facility operations, production processes, and system design.

    This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and procedural writing capability, with direct engagement with engineers, operations personnel, and subject matter experts to translate complex processes into clear, accurate, and compliant procedures.

    The position is fully on-site in Oak Ridge, TN and requires availability to start in the near term with full-time support. This is estimated to be a 4 to 6 week assignment.

    Key Responsibilities

    The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking a highly motivated System Administrator to support IT operations within a local operational boundary consisting of both interconnected systems and standalone devices in the Component & Chemistry Technology - Chemistry Technology organization located at Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in West Mifflin, PA. The organization is responsible for support and development of automated chemistry equipment at the laboratory and in the fleet.     The W93 Systems Development and Realization Group (Q-20) is seeking a Scientist 2/3 to lead a team responsible for developing and realizing polymer components of the W93/Mk7. As a Product Realization Team (PRT) Lead, you will work with other PRTs and the W93 Systems Engineering Director to coordinate the efforts of the LANL team designing and developing the polymer components. You will collaborate with colleagues at Production Agencies across the Nuclear Security Enterprise, particularly Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC). You will ensure the success of the team responsible for planning, managing requirements and interfaces, executing, testing, reporting status, and ultimately delivering a producible, Mark Quality design and product.


    This is an opportunity to be part of the first new weapon system program in over 30 years. Q-20, W93/Mk7 Systems Development and Realization Group, defines, develops, and fields the warhead system for the newest Navy sub-launched ballistic missile weapon program. We support the DoD/Navy SSP and DoE/NNSA customers in defining the mission need and corresponding technical and programmatic requirements. The W93 collaborates closely with Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) and Lockheed Martin Space design agencies, developing the re-entry system, ensuring safe, secure, & reliable warhead performance and a relevant nuclear deterrent. Q-20 also incorporates the production agency teams (KCNSC, Pantex, SRS, Y-12, LANL, and SNL) tightly into the design, qualification, and realization processes.

    At the Scientist 2 level, you will lead the planning, execution, and status reporting for product realization of the polymer components. You will interface regularly with internal LANL organizations, external production agencies, and external customers to accomplish these activities.

    In addition to Scientist 2 activities, a Scientist 3 may perform cross-cutting work across the several polymer PRTs, coordination with QTE (Qualification, Test, and Evaluation) and requirements evaluation and revision. Additionally, a Scientist 3 will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff supporting these efforts.
