    Job Title: Laminator

    Classification: Non-Exempt

    Reports To: Lamination Manager/Supervisor



    Job Description: Lamination/Gunrunner/FRP - Applies and rolls initial layers of fiberglass and resin to hulls and decks. Applies and rolls fiberglass and resin to hulls and inserts metal reinforcing pieces.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify the different hulls and decks that are to be laminated.

    • Use rollers, brushes, and fiberglass guns.

    • Eliminate bubbles in fiberglass once it has been applied.

    • Use small hand tools, including scissors, razors knife, etc.

    • Light sanding and grinding of parts when necessary.

    • Must be flexible and willing to cross-train within the department.

    • Keep the work area clean and orderly.

    • Follow instructions of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead

    • Inspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards.

    • Any other duties as assigned by management.

    • Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.

    Job Title: Upholsterer

    Classification: Non-Exempt

    Reports To: Upholstery Manager/Supervisor

    Job Description: Upholsterer attaches vinyl coverings onto the proper parts before being installed in the boats.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Using a screw gun, installs bolts into pre-drilled holes and tighten them down. Inspects skins for defects, trims, excess threads, and vinyl. Places skins over parts and aligns stripes. Pull vinyl tight over part and staples around edges, making sure that edges and stripes stay aligned. Finish with screen and hem when necessary. Inspects all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards. Keep the work area clean and orderly. Any other duties as assigned by management. Follow the instruction of the Manager/Supervisor/LeadInspects all parts to be complete and up to quality standards. Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.

    Job Title: Advance Composite Wing Lead

    Reports to: Department Manager/Supervisor

    Job Description: Directly responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our production departments. Meeting facility goals regarding safety, quality, and on-time delivery of products from one department to the next.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Drive the daily operational duties of the department to meet production demand. Maintains standardized methods of operation for the department.Facilitate the flow of communication between managers and down to employees concerning matters of importance. Participate in implementing new manufacturing processes, products, and systems technology to meet operational goals.Coordinate the delivery and disposal of chemicals and supplies.Work to achieve a “zero defect” in manufacturing operations, keeping delinquencies at or below the facility goal.Participate in employment-related issues concerning hiring, training, appraising, or counseling as appropriate; escalate issues to the next leadership level when appropriate.Support all safety initiatives and maintain a high awareness of safety in the facility.     Small Parts Gel Coater

    The Small Parts Gel Coat reports to the Supervisor.

    Responsible for preparing molds and applying gel coats to fiberglass boats according to production specifications and quality standards.

    This position embodies and champions the core values, standards, and guiding philosophies of Nautique Boat Company, ensuring their consistent application across all duties and organizational initiatives.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Essential Functions

    1. Spray gelcoat according to production specifications, ensuring proper film thickness (mil thickness) and color application based on work orders.

    2. Read and interpret production orders to determine the correct gelcoat color and application requirements.

    3. Apply hull and deck identification numbers in the designated locations.

    4. Stock and maintain gelcoat materials and supplies.

    5. Clean and maintain spray equipment, filters, and pumps at required intervals.

    6. Tape, wrap, and prepare molds for gelcoat application.

    7. Identify the various gelcoat applications required.

    8. Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards and production specifications.

    9. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

    10. Follow all instructions provided by the Supervisor, Foreman, or Team Lead.

    11. Work effectively as part of a team to complete daily production goals.

    12. Safely use small hand tools, including scissors, utility knives, razors, and similar tools.

    13. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a full-face respirator, while performing assigned duties.

    14. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

    Job Description: Reporting to Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Engineer is a hands-on, production-focused contributor responsible for delivering production-ready CAD models, Drawings, and manufacturing documentation. This role bridges engineering and operations, ensuring designs are translated into efficient, repeatable, high-quality manufacturing processes.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Own the end-to-end integration of CAD designs and parts from engineering release through production execution. Release and maintain revision-controlled CAD files ensuring alignment with engineering intent, tolerances, and full production traceability. Validate product geometry, toolpaths, nesting strategies, and material orientation prior to production release. Define, maintain, and improve SOPs, work instructions, setup sheets, and tooling standards. Ensure repeatability and traceability across shifts and operators. Lead first-article validation, prototyping runs, and production ramp-ups for new and revised designs. Evaluate part manufacturability, scalability, and compatibility with existing CNC equipment and processes. Ensure Designs and parts meet engineering specifications and fit, form, and function requirements; provide manufacturing-driven feedback and redlines to Product Development and Design. Create CAD models, drawings, and templates following standards. Create and maintain optimized, production-ready nested cut files for CNC departments. Manage production file lifecycle including new model year carryover and transition of obsolete files to Service Parts. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, material utilization, and waste reduction.     Summary:

    The Quality Control Technician – Water Testing conducts on-water and in-process production testing of boats to ensure all systems meet quality, safety, and performance standards prior to customer delivery. Verifies product functionality, identifies defects, documents testing results, and ensures each vessel meets Nautique’s performance and craftsmanship expectations.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
