What You Will Do:
The Guest Experience Coordinator is a hospitality position that provides on-the-ground customer service and logistical support to our conference guests. The Guest Experience team works to create a welcoming and professional space for all attendees. Coordinators work closely with coworkers across all departments, fostering positive working relationships.
5-day workweek schedule, typically Thursday-Monday, including regular overtime and the occasional split shifts

This position takes place at our Golden Gate campus in the Marin Headlands and cannot be done remotely.
Your job will be:
Customer Service
Create a welcoming and safe environment for diverse guests.
Act as a primary point of contact for guests during their visit.
Respond to the needs of guests, troubleshoot problems and help in urgent situations, including responding to our on-call urgent response number.
Welcome guests to campus, conduct orientation talks with groups of up to 120 people
Communicate with conference program organizers before and after programming
Logistical Support
Set-up, break down and cleaning of event spaces.
Stock inventory and clean and maintain conference supplies in meeting rooms and storage spaces.
Willingness to help guests with basic tech support, including projectors and internet.
Teamwork
Demonstrate ability to self-supervise, manage time and take initiative to identify, prioritize and complete projects.
Assist Conference Operations Managers, Coordinator team, and Facilities team with daily duties and projects, perform other related duties as assigned.
Provide occasional support for environmental science education programs, as assigned by supervisor

Food Service
Act as a host during meal service hours; attend to guest questions and requests during meal services.
Support kitchen staff in set-up, service and clean-up for all Guest Experience dining hall meals.
Compensation:
$22.77/hr

Summary
The kitchen assistant is responsible for ensuring the front of the house is clean, stocked, and running smoothly for buffet or cafeteria style meal services for up to 200 people. The kitchen assistant will also wash dishes and perform prep work tasks such as washing and chopping fresh fruits and vegetables, and packaging or portioning ready to eat items and ingredients for the cooks. The host will perform regular cleaning tasks and seasonal deep cleaning and may be assigned light maintenance in the kitchen. During some programs kitchen assistants will have additional guest service tasks. This position is seasonal from approximately May through November.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare, serve and clean up after meals in accordance with established procedures and checklists.
Understand how to manage allergens and minimize the risk of cross-contamination in the kitchen.
Ability to learn the menu, and basic information about NatureBridge campus and policy in order to provide outstanding guest service.
Check in and put away food deliveries according to FIFO and keep storage areas organized.
Perform daily cleaning such as sweeping, scrubbing the floor, and other general cleaning.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Monitor and record cooking and food storage temperatures in accordance with U.S. public health standards.
Perform physical tasks requiring lifting up to 50 pounds such as moving equipment, and supplies.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with all staff, guests and Olympic National Park visitors and staff and provide outstanding guest service.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The Olympic Education Manager coordinates the administration of overnight environmental science programming in Olympic National Park. The Education Manager plays a signifi cant role in supervising, supporting, training, and coaching Environmental Science Educators in curriculum and program logistics. Supervision, Coaching & Professional Development
Directly supervise up to 13 Environmental Science Educators, and indirectly supervise an additional 4 Environmental Science Educators
Document and support Educator professional development through observation, coaching, and performance review
Collaborate to coordinate, implement, and evaluate Educator training and in-services with the Education Team
Facilitate payroll for direct reports and other educators as needed
Promote and enhance knowledge of scientific content, inquiry-based teaching competency, and Social-Emotional Learning through the implementation and evaluation of educator trainings and programming
Coordinate with the Facilities department to support Educator housing placements and resolve situations as they arise
Maintain, organize, order, and issue first aid kits, educator uniforms, student loaner gear, and all teaching supplies
Oversight of Mentor Educators, including hiring, training, and coaching
Program Support
Daily on-campus presence is required.
Provide daily management and oversight of the program, to include serving as ‘day manager’ on a rotating basis, running morning meetings, answering phone calls, and checking in with field staff at the end of the day.
Substitute for educators in the field, being available to teach with short notice
Support NatureBridge initial response in the event of an emergency by being available on radio for emergencies and general field support

Ensure smooth program implementation by refining, developing, communicating and supporting logistics systems.
Support the Operations Team to maintain a comfortable and welcoming campus for all NatureBridge customers.
