PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Mechanic position supports the branch, and client, in all pump maintenance and repair needs. This position ensures that all rental equipment maintenance and repair needs of the branch is conducted in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner. This role provides a great opportunity to learn and grow within our service department and beyond.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Performs maintenance and repairs of pumps and other equipment in both the shop and in the fieldAct as a liaison between customers, and other departments of the branch, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in terms of rental equipment maintenance and repairTrouble shoot all rental equipment for most efficient way to get equipment back onlineMaintain professional and ethical business relationships with all customers and co-workers following the established company policies and procedures.Produce all required service tickets and/or documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely mannerCommunicates with the team for ordering and stocking of needed parts, equipment, and accessoriesCommunicates with team for coordinating delivery and pickup of parts, equipment, and accessoriesFoster good working relationships with clients and team members by training on parts, equipment, and accessoriesBe an ambassador for safety, making sure all work is done in the safest mannerContinuous growth of knowledge for all Company products, inventory, and delivery capabilitiesAssist with stocking, pick-up, and delivery of all parts, equipment, and accessoriesMaintain a clean work environmentPerforms other tasks and duties as assigned by ManagementEDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must be mechanically inclined with mechanical background and knowledge of various motors and enginesMust have your own toolsMust be able to travel locally and regionallyMust be able to multi-task and work on many different projects at one timeMust be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projects.Must be detail oriented and organized. Must have a valid state driver’s license with a moderately clean driving recordMust be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditionsMust be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs.Full breakdown of the position's physical requirements are attached.
