    Job Overview:

    The Forklift Operator role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our production area while handling the movement of products with precision and care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks and other material handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods within our warehouse and distribution centers.

    IMMEDIATE HIRE: FORKLIFT OPERATORS

    $19.75 PLUS SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS.

    MULTIPLE OF SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

    Shift A: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm. $19.75

    Shift B: Wednesday – Saturday, 5:30pm – 4:00am. $20.75

    Shift C: Sunday 6am-7pm – Monday/Tuesday 4:30pm – 5:30am. $20.75

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.Store the products in proper places in warehouse.Transport products to and from warehouse and distribution centers.Deliver products to various units in safely and timely manner.Sort, pack, wrap, tie and label products as per company procedures.Monitor and maintain accurate inventory.Clean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets, wood and plastic.Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere.Performs routine pre and post inspections. Recommends repairs.Study production schedule to determine material requirements, movements and deliveries.Identify and report faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately.Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    A high school diploma or equivalent, providing a solid foundation for understanding warehouse operations and safety practices.Valid forklift license, demonstrating formal training and certification in forklift operation.2-3 years of experience in forklift operation, showcasing proficiency and operational knowledge.Demonstrated ability to skillfully maneuver forklifts in various configurations, ensuring the safe handling of goods.Capable of performing both light and heavy lifting tasks, reflecting physical capability and endurance.Familiarity with the maintenance requirements of forklifts and related equipment, emphasizing a proactive approach to equipment care.Comprehensive knowledge of safety precautions necessary for safe forklift operation, minimizing risk to personnel and products.Understanding of warehouse inventory practices, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management.

    Physical Demands:

    Operating Machinery: Regular operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.Sitting and Maneuvering: Extended periods of sitting while navigating and operating the forklift within tight spaces.Attention to Safety: Constant vigilance and adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure safe operation.Lifting and Stacking: Manual lifting and stacking of materials when necessary, occasionally handling loads of up to 50 pounds.Visual and Auditory Awareness: High level of situational awareness required, with the need to quickly identify hazards and signals.Flexibility and Coordination: Bending, reaching, and coordinating movements for loading and unloading materials.Working Conditions: Work in warehouses, distribution centers, or outdoor areas, potentially in varying weather conditions.

This position involves longer-distance driving that may require multiple days on the road, typically within a specific region.     Job Summary:

    This job will consist of local deliveries. Drivers must be comfortable with city driving. Drivers are home daily, and qualifying drivers can receive Safety Bonuses. Freight is a combination of pallet deliveries with some drop and hook.

    Pay:

    $22.00/hr.$24.00/hr. (night shift)

    2nd position

    Start time: 7:30 PMThursday to Monday

    Job Description:

    On time delivery to dedicated accounts.Pre-trip/Post-trip inspection (after/ after each load).Maintaining daily E-Log.Operate Company owned tractor-trailer trucks to facilitate transportation of freight.Perform required after-, during-, and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports.Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs.Maintain all property entrusted to the driver in excellent condition and protect it.Report all accidents immediately.Promptly report any delays to respective Dispatcher or Manager.Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    Class A CDL.Safe driving record (MVR, CSA, and previous employment).Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements.Good stable work record.Current DOT physical.1 year of Class-A driving experience or equivalent military experience.Be at least 23 years of age.Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.Ability to safely drive various vehicles.Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public.Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to work independently.Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all timesAbility to occasionally perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.Ability to make independent judgments, which have moderate impacts on the organization.
