    Field Construction Superintendent – Charlotte, North Carolina


    Our national construction firm is seeking experienced Field Construction Superintendents based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area to support multiple interior and exterior renovation projects. We specialize in the multi-family, senior housing, student housing, and LIHTC housing sectors.

    Position Overview

    This role is responsible for overseeing field construction operations and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.


    Key Responsibilities

    Supervise subcontractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality workmanshipMaintain a safe job site by leading safety meetings and conducting regular safety inspections.Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedulesManage daily field operations and maintain accurate daily logsProvide timely and accurate reporting from the fieldEnforce quality control standards


    Additional responsibilities may include:

    Assisting with subcontract negotiations and agreementsProcuring and managing materialsPreparing purchase orders and tracking schedulesMonitoring job costsReviewing and approving vendor invoicesActing as a liaison between clients and project teams


    Qualifications

    3–5 years of construction experience requiredStrong leadership, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookValid driver’s license and reliable transportationWillingness to travel and work a flexible schedule (including evenings/weekends as needed)Ability to pass a background check


    Preferred Qualifications
