    Position Summary: Serves as Maintenance Gardener for Naples Botanical Garden. This position is responsible for the maintenance and care of ornamental beds, trees and shrubs, and turf as well as all areas under the responsibility of the Horticulture Department.


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    Operate all equipment and tools safely and properly.Maintain the Garden to the highest horticulture standards by mowing turf areas, removing debris, clearing pathways, mulching ornamental beds and seasonal renewal pruning.Follow proper techniques of soil preparation, plant installation, and pesticide/herbicide/fertilizer application.Other duties as required and assigned.

    Requirements / Qualifications:

    A minimum of one year’s experience using all types of ground maintenance equipment, such as mowers, sprayers, blowers, trimmers, and tillers.Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driver's record and be capable of operating pickup trucks and other essential equipment safely.Ability to work well within a diverse and multicultural workforce, including volunteers.Ability to work as part of a team or individually with little or no supervision.Good interpersonal communication.40-hour work week. Must have flexible schedule as work priorities or seasonal needs change.Must be able to work required overtime, often with little advance notice (e.g., storm damage). Schedule includes some evenings and weekends.Must be able to work outside in inclement weather—extreme heat, high winds, and rain.Must be able to perform physical work including bending, stooping, and reaching.Must be willing to apply herbicides and pesticides under supervision.Pre-Employment background check required.

    Position Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Membership & Donor Engagement, the Membership and Philanthropic Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Garden's membership program and delivering an exceptional Member experience at every point of engagement. The position coordinates membership communications, fulfillment, data management, and operational processes that support membership growth, retention, and engagement.


    In addition, the Membership and Philanthropic Coordinator serves as the primary coordinator for Member and donor engagement activities, working closely with colleagues across the Garden to plan and execute events, manage registrations, coordinate logistics, and ensure a high-quality experience that reflects the Garden's standards of hospitality. Through strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service, this position helps strengthen lasting relationships that advance the Garden's mission and philanthropic goals.


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


    Member Service & Communications

    Deliver a responsive, professional, and welcoming experience for Members, donors, and prospective Members through phone, email, support tickets, and in-person interactions, documenting all constituent interactions accurately within Raiser’s Edge NXT, as they occur.Manage and prioritize the Membership inbox, ensuring timely, accurate, and courteous responses.Prepare Member correspondence as needed, using the Garden’s standard response templates when appropriate.Create general and Member email lists for Marketing & Communications, Outlook mail merges, and Raiser’s Edge NXT.Create and distribute physical and digital membership cards.Support a visible membership presence in the Garden as needed and directed.

    Membership Management Support

    Support the achievement of annual membership revenue, retention, acquisition, and engagement goals through accurate execution of membership initiatives and close collaboration with internal teams.Coordinate monthly membership renewal production by preparing data files, print materials, and digital assets while ensuring quality control throughout the renewal process.Coordinate the Garden’s employee complimentary membership program.Fulfill Gift of Membership certificate requests, including processing donation requests from Community Relations and other departments. Create gift memberships in Raiser’s Edge NXT when certificates are redeemed.

    Member & Donor Engagement

    Serve as the primary Membership representative for cross-departmental planning of Member and donor engagement events, ensuring a consistently exceptional Member experience while coordinating logistics and representing Membership during Production Team meetings.Record Member event RSVPs accurately in Raiser’s Edge NXT, including entries from ACME point-of-sale reports, and send registrants any necessary follow-up details.Support Garden-wide events, exhibitions, fundraising activities, and special initiatives that strengthen Member engagement and philanthropic relationships.Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements / Qualifications:

    Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred; or 3–5 years of equivalent work experience.Passion for providing exceptional hospitality and relationship-based customer service.Nonprofit experience preferred.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.Comfortable learning new technology platforms and adapting to changing priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and Word/Outlook for mail merges.At least 1 year of Raiser’s Edge database entry or management experience preferred.Experience with Monday.com, Cuseum, TripleSeat, or ACME Ticketing is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen, clarify, and respond effectively.Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations with tact, respond promptly, and meet commitments.Professional personal presentation.Maintain confidentiality, listen respectfully, and remain composed under pressure.Consistent attendance and punctuality, with coverage arranged during absences.Follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for actions, and complete tasks on time or communicate an alternate plan.Strong organizational and planning skills; uses time effectively.Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.A pre-employment background check is required.

    Position Summary: The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Marketing department’s efforts to ensure Naples Botanical Garden’s continued growth and increase awareness of Garden’s mission and programs. The Social Media Coordinator supports the planning, development, and implementation of digital assets, notably social media, ensuring a dynamic and appealing public image for the Garden as well as ensuring that these outlets promote the values of the institution. This position reports to the Senior Content Manager.


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    Creates content for the Garden’s social media platforms.Serves as main point of contact for all social media platforms, internally and externally as well as primary info email to ensure consistent messaging to audiences.Manages the development and reporting of digital metrics.Creates and reports on Meta platform advertising.Maintains, monitors, and tracks social media utilizing ongoing dashboards to measure progress and maximize ROI.Works with Director of Marketing & Guest Relations to evaluate results of digital marketing campaigns as well as general activity.Offers actionable insights based on campaign performance.Builds relationships with influencers and local marketing agents to create and develop content supporting the Garden’s mission and earned revenue goals.Ensures best practices are followed in all areas of digital marketing and social media practices to increase brand awareness and engagement among desired audiences.Oversees web-based tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Campsite, Meta business accounts) to support digital marketing efforts.Ensures all work is consistent with established brand guidelines, applicable policies, and compliance standards.Performs periodic maintenance, review, and updating of all digital assets and materials.Assists with events as needed.Consistently seeks knowledge from around the Garden regarding programs, events, and other developments to develop stories, determine content priorities, and other communications strategies.

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.3 – 5 years prior experience in communications or marketing role desired.Knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom is mandatory.
