    NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Communications Manager to join our Marketing & Communications team at our corporate office in Birmingham, Alabama.

    The Communications Manager plays a key role in executing NaphCare’s internal and external communications strategy. This role is responsible for developing compelling content, managing multi-channel communication efforts, and supporting organizational initiatives through clear and engaging messaging. The position partners across departments to ensure communications are timely and aligned.


    Responsibilities

    Content Creation and Storytelling

    Develop clear, engaging, and mission-aligned content for internal and external audiences, including newsletters, announcements, blogs, campaigns, and leadership messaging.Identify and elevate stories that highlight team member achievements, patient care impact, and organizational values.Conduct interviews and gather insights from team members to support authentic storytelling.Adapt messaging across audiences from clinical teams to corporate staff ensuring clarity and relevance while maintaining consistency in voice, tone, and messaging standards.

    Multi-Channel Communication Execution

    Design and deploy communications across multiple channels, including email, intranet, text messaging, and digital platforms based on audience segmentation, urgency, and organizational priorities. Manage and update internal communication platforms (e.g., intranet, SharePoint), ensuring content is current and accessible.Develop content for Slack, digital signage, breakroom postings, and other frontline communication tools.Support production and distribution of recurring communications, including internal newsletters.

    Photography, Video, and Audio Production

    Capture and produce visual content across facilities, events, and team environments to support internal communications.Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content for multiple channels.Produce and manage internal podcast content, including planning, interviewing, editing, and publishing.Maintain a structured library of visual and audio assets aligned with brand standards.Repurpose multimedia content into short clips, written summaries, and cross-channel formats to maximize reach.

    Communication Project Management

    Serve as a central coordination point for communication initiatives across departments.Manage incoming communication requests, prioritization, and scheduling to ensure timely execution.Maintain communication tracking systems and editorial calendars, ensuring visibility into active and upcoming projects.Track project milestones, approvals, and revisions, escalating risks or delays as needed.Monitor and report on communication performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, open rates) to inform strategy.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field1 to 3 years of communications experience, preferably in healthcare and/or with a government contractorStrong background in writing and digital content developmentStrong storyteller with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging contenExperience in design, creating simple visuals and graphicsInsights-driven problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, and Adobe applicationsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesHighly motivated and willingness to collaborate with a teamAbility to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlinesProactive, innovative and passionate

    Overview

    NaphCare is hiring a Medical Scheduler to join our team of medical professionals in the Arizona Department of Corrections-Tucson, Tucson, AZ.

    As a Correctional Medical Scheduler, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals who provide care to the individuals in residence, to schedule off-site appointments. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients.


    Responsibilities

    The Medical Scheduler is responsible for managing and coordinating healthcare appointments for the facility. Duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:

    Scheduling various medical appointments, including on-site clinic visits and off-site specialist appointments, as recommended by medical staff Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records, including entering consultation requests into the system and managing patient informationArranging transportation for inmates to and from appointments, ensuring timely and secure transfers Effectively communicating with healthcare staff, patients, and other relevant parties regarding appointments, scheduling changes, and other medical information Adhering to all relevant security protocols, confidentiality standards, and HIPAA regulations Utilizing computer systems for scheduling, data entry, and report generation, often handling large volumes of data Additional duties and specific projects as assigned

    Qualifications

    Experience / Requirements / Qualifications / Skills

    Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.Prior training in a medical office setting scheduling medical appointments and working with medical records preferred A working knowledge of medical terminology and various types of medical specialtiesProficiency in Microsoft SuiteMust possess strong written communication and verbal skills, adaptable to environments where conditions may not be pristine, and manage and maintain in stressful situationsMust have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirementsMust pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening

    NaphCare is seeking an experienced and strategic Public Relations Manager to lead the organization’s external communications and media strategy.     Responsibilities

    Media Relations & Publicity

    Develop and execute a comprehensive media relations strategy to elevate the visibility of NaphCare and its subject matter experts. Build and maintain relationships with healthcare, policy, and industry journalists. Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, statements, and talking points. Pitch proactive stories highlighting innovation, patient care initiatives, partnerships, and industry leadership. Coordinate media interviews and prepare executives with briefing materials and messaging.

    Strategic Communications

    Identify and develop newsworthy stories across the organization. Partner with internal teams to communicate key company milestones, program launches, and facility partnerships. Support corporate reputation management through thoughtful messaging and positioning.

    Executive & Thought Leadership

    Support leadership visibility through contributed articles, speaking opportunities, and media placements. Develop executive messaging for industry events, interviews, and announcements. Position NaphCare leaders as trusted voices in correctional healthcare

    Issues & Crisis Communications

    Assist in developing and maintaining crisis communication plans. Provide guidance and messaging support during sensitive or high-visibility situations. Monitor media coverage and public sentiment.

    Content & Reporting

    Write and edit high-quality external communications materials. Track media coverage and measure PR performance metrics. Provide regular reporting on media reach, sentiment, and impact.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field. 5–8+ years of public relations or corporate communications experience. Proven track record securing media coverage and managing press relationships. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Experience supporting executive communications and thought leadership initiatives. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong judgment when handling sensitive communications.

    Preferred Experience

    Healthcare, healthcare services, or regulated industry experience. Experience with crisis or issues management. Familiarity with healthcare policy, behavioral health, or correctional healthcare environments. Media monitoring and PR analytics tools experience.

    NaphCare Rx, is NaphCare's in-house pharmacy dedicated solely to correctional facilities across the country. Connected by our operations management software and EHR, TechCare, NaphCare Rx pharmacists become an integrated, essential part of the clinical team, from electronic medicine orders and secure delivery to pharmacy consultation and review. NaphCare Rx also extends purchasing discounts and cost savings directly to our partners and employees.

    We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Material Handler to support medication distribution to contracted facility sites. This role is responsible for preparing, packaging, staging, and shipping medications in compliance with pharmacy regulations and internal quality standards.

    The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced production environment and understands the importance of accuracy, organization, and on-time shipment performance in healthcare operations.

    *This is a full-time, on-site position with hours of 2pm – 11pm, Sunday through Thursday.


    Responsibilities

    Order Staging & DistributionOrganize completed orders by site for scheduled carrier pickupMatch outgoing shipments to daily shipping reports and manifestsConfirm all required documentation is included prior to releaseCoordinate with fulfillment and inventory teams to resolve missing itemsCarrier & Logistics SupportPrepare shipping labels and affix tracking documentationMaintain accurate shipment logs and tracking recordsInventory SupportPull bulk supply orders for packagingMaintain organized shipping and staging areasAssist with cycle counts and inventory verification as neededMonitor and report low stock or packaging supply shortages
