    Adjunct Lead Instructor (as needed) on campus, Columbus

    Similar job titles: Teacher, IT Instructor, Computer Instructor, CompTIA Certification Instructor, Professor, and or Technology teacher.

    Schedule: 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm EST

    Hourly rate: 35.00/hr


    PURPOSE OF POSITION:

    The Adjunct Lead Instructor is responsible for providing quality IT instruction to students in the academic methodologies assigned. The Adjunct Lead Instructor will work with the Director of Education to ensure that student cohorts in the assigned Resident, online, and/or hybrid academic delivery methodologies receive training to acquire the skills and to prepare for certification exams that will allow them to transition into the IT Workforce.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Teach assigned cohort(s) of students in the assigned academic delivery methodologies.

    Model and cultivate a team culture of excitement and passion for changing student lives.

    Provide motivational leadership for Instructors and students focusing on respect and setting an exemplary example.

    Facilitate an organized, informed, engaging classroom experience that encourages the retention, course completion, and certification of assigned student cohorts.

    Coach and develop Instructors to provide ongoing assistance to struggling Students of Concern.

    Using various communication tools such as phone, chat, email, text, video, or in-person, directly communicate with and coach Students of Concern.

    Respond timely and accurately to student questions and concerns.

    Regularly monitor student progress and contribute to the encouragement and motivation of students regarding commitment to the program, pursuit of high achievement in academics, and preparation to take certification exams.

    Deliver curriculum and instructional activities to provide students with an outstanding academic and training experience during each class session that prepares students to take their certification exams.

    Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities, per the published syllabus.

    Maintain discipline and manage student behavior in accordance with the policies and disciplinary systems of the school.

    Contribute to the enhancement of the academic and training program by providing constructive feedback.

    Other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related field; or a combination of education and work experience.

    A minimum of 3 years of practical work experience in the IT industry (within the last 10 years) is preferred.

    A minimum of 2 years of experience with classroom and online instruction is preferred.

    Candidates with a different combination of technical training experience and practical work experience will be considered.

    PURPOSE OF POSITION:

    The Assistant Director of Financial Planning is expected to mentor specific Financial Planners and Financial Counselors and provide additional motivation and coaching depending on their needs. The Assistant Director of Financial Counseling is expected to lead their assigned team to achieve higher results.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Mentor Financial Counselors and Financial Planners and provide coaching on best practices

    Continually train and develop Financial Planners and Financial Counselors

    Consistently maintain top performance

    Perform daily QA assessments of Financial Planners and Financial Counselors and provide feedback and mentoring

    Ensure that Financial Planners and Financial Counselors are meeting compliance standards

    Manage the queueing system to ensure students are assisted in the proper time frame

    Ensure Financial Planners and Financial Counselors meet or exceed metrics assigned by Sr Director of Financial Planning

    Fill in and perform any or all Financial Planner and Financial Counselor job functions as needed

    Misc. duties as assigned by the Sr Director of Financial Planning

Your role involves inspiring and motivating potential students to enroll in our programs, providing personalized consultations, and supporting them throughout the enrollment process.     Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Conduct virtual consultations with prospective students, presenting the value of MyComputerCareer through engaging discussions and presentations.

    Perform daily follow-up calls to help prospective students progress toward enrollment.

    Assist students in obtaining required enrollment documentation, such as transcripts and identification.

    Guide students through securing financial aid and private lender funding.

    Set expectations for success in the program and ensure onboarding completion, including interviews and attendance on the first day of labs.

    Participate in student recruitment and retention efforts, including “save the student” meetings.

    Maintain a high level of engagement with prospective students, with a minimum of 50 follow-up calls daily.

    Perform additional duties as assigned.
