Job Title: Painter - Unit Turns and Touch-Ups Location: Ohio City, Ohio Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team for unit turns and touch-up projects in luxury apartments located in Ohio City. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting residential units, ranging from studios (380 Sq.ft.) to two-bedroom apartments (up to 1800 Sq.Ft.), and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes.
Responsibilities:
Perform painting and touch-up work for apartment units during turnovers
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming prior to painting
Paint interior walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and other surfaces
Complete needed drywall repairs - to a top-level finish product
Perform light maintenance in units before completing the turn
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the company's high standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Communicate effectively with property management and maintenance teams
Maintain all painting tools and equipment
Qualifications:
Proven experience in residential painting, preferably in luxury apartments
Ability to paint an entire unit, from studio to two-bedroom layouts
Must be able to perform drywall repairs to a high quality finish
Must have basic maintenance knowledge needed for unit turns
Knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and material usage
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Ability to work on multiple units with varying schedules
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Capability to lift and carry painting supplies and equipment
