    About the Role

    MWHis currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support and lead critical water, wastewater, and advanced water treatment plant construction projects for both municipal and industrial clients (including advanced technology sector clients) based out Northern California metropolitan area.

    Projects may be either integrated project delivery such as CM-at-Risk or Design-Build, or traditional Design-Bid-Build.

    Essential Functions
    Plan, organize and staff key field positions or subordinate project managers. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and contacts, to facilitate preconstruction and construction activities. Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site construction managers and superintendents to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. Represent Company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc. Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with Client. Work jointly with other members of the project team to complete the MWH Constructors' Management Administration Plan prior to initiating any fieldwork. Use the planning guidelines and tools provided throughout the project. Assure that direct reporting employees follow safe work practices and use company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner. Work in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies. Provide leadership and technical support to project engineers, field engineers and superintendents. Procurement of subcontractors and materials thru Purchase Agreements and Subcontracts. Support Change Management, Cost Estimating, revenue and Cost Forecasting and Scheduling.
    Basic Qualifications
    4-year engineering/construction management degree or equivalent experience and training/education. Minimum of 8-15 years of construction, design, finance and management experience/knowledge required on heavy civil or industrial construction projects. 3 - 5 years of experience on water or wastewater plant projects. Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities vital. Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential. Strong business-orientation required. Proven experience and judgment.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Safety oriented, OSHA training. Special experience and expertise with water/wastewater and/or advanced technology treatment projects.

    Compensation

    About the Role

    MWHis currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Construction Manager to support project work out of Sacramento, CA.

    As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of mechanical aspects of construction projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and managing a team of construction professionals. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the timely completion and quality of projects, as well as maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

    The Construction Manager will oversee the appointed project staff and support service consultants to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the project plans and specifications, as well as requirements of the contract and the expectations of the client. The Construction Manager is the primary interface with the owner and the contractor and with the engineer of record and regulatory representatives. In addition to providing construction management on all project phases from procurement, through bid, pre-construction, construction, commissioning, start-up and close-out phases, the Construction Manager will assist in new business development opportunities.

    Essential Functions
    Oversee and manage process mechanical operations in water and wastewater construction projects from start to finish Interface with client, oversight representatives, regulatory agencies, etc., for both business development and project execution.     Basic Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical), construction management, or equivalent degree. Minimum of 12 years of experience managing municipal water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects, such as treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, tunnels, etc. 8+ years of management experience, including client interface and solicitation, marketing and business development, planning and execution, project delivery, and staff supervision. CCM or PMP required, however consideration will be given to candidates willing to gain CCM or PMP within 12 months. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), union jurisdiction, labor agreements, and negotiations. Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, supervisory and planning skills. Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. Strong business acumen. Project P/L experience.

    About the Role

    MWH is currently seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to support the construction of a Water Treatment Plant located in the Gresham, OR area. This project will be the first of its kind and ultimately supplying 135 million gallons of water a day to the Portland community. This position is a great opportunity to be a part of a historic infrastructure and filtration project and see it through the entire project delivery life cycle, from groundbreaking to closeout.

    As the Lead Mechanical Superintendent, you will have overall responsibility for the process mechanical installation on the project and supervision of the installation subcontractor to ensure that the installed work aligns with the overall project implementation plan, focusing on safety, quality, project schedule and cost control. Ensure all work is completed per the engineering requirements detailed in the project documents. You will review and approve subcontractor construction plans, supervise activities, and coordinate work among different subcontractors while maintaining communication with engineering and project management teams.

    Essential Functions

    Ensure the safety of your crews.Review and approve subcontractor construction schedule including overall and short interval schedules.Review and approve subcontractor work plans.Ensure each subcontractors' long lead equipment will meet scheduled installation dates.Assist with reviewing Subcontractor BIM information developed for the project.Review and approve all mechanical construction activities, ensuring adherence to project technical requirements.Coordinate subcontractor activities with other discipline subcontractors and liaise with engineering and project management teams.Assist in resolving construction problems and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.Review shop drawings and submittals related to mechanical work.Manage field inspections and ensure quality control and assurance standards for ongoing work phases.Plan and coordinate field testing and inspections with the QA/QC staff per contract requirements.Document compliance with quality control procedures and report non-compliance issues.Monitor safety compliance of site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring corrective measures are taken.Adhere to company health and safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.Attend progress meetings and provide updates on project status and quality control measures.Perform additional assignments as directed by project management.Manage subcontractor crane needs and their safety while using the crane.

    Basic Qualifications

    Minimum of 15 years of relevant construction industry & supervision experience.Prior experience and familiarity with the current standards for process mechanical in the water infrastructure environment.Thorough understanding of construction safety, quality control and contract management is necessary.

    Compensation

    Anticipated annual salary range is $140,000 - $160,000 based on experience

    The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for managing all field operations related to structural and civil concrete work on water/wastewater projects. This includes planning, coordinating, and overseeing the subcontractors performing the work, to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

    This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of concrete construction, formwork systems, and public infrastructure projects in a water/wastewater environment.

    Essential Functions

    Maintain a strong focus on safety and ensure all work complies with company and OSHA standards.Lead daily site operations for concrete placement, forming, rebar installation, and finishing.Coordinate subcontractors superintendents and foremen to ensure safety, productivity and quality.Interpret drawings and specifications to plan and sequence work efficiently.Support manpower and equipment schedules, and material deliveries in coordination with the Package Manager.Track daily progress, quantities, and labor hours; communicate variances to project leadership.Collaborate with project team, QC inspectors, and owners to maintain schedule and resolve field issues.Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards for rebar placement, concrete mixes, testing, and placement procedures.Participate in project planning meetings, schedule reviews, and constructability input sessions.

    Basic Qualifications

    Minimum 10 years of heavy civil construction experience, with at least 5 years in a superintendent or foreman role.Proven background in structural and civil concrete for water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, dams, or similar public works projects.Strong knowledge of formwork systems (Symons, EFCO, Peri, etc.), layout, and reinforcement details.Demonstrated ability to supervise structural concrete work efficiently in fast-paced environments.Solid understanding of project schedules, cost control, and productivity tracking.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.Proficient with project documentation, including daily reports and field logs.

    Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical), construction management, or equivalent degree.Minimum of 12 years of experience managing municipal water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects, such as treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, tunnels, etc.8+ years of management experience, including client interface and solicitation, marketing and business development, planning and execution, project delivery, and staff supervision.CCM or PMP required, however consideration will be given to candidates willing to gain CCM or PMP within 12 months.Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), union jurisdiction, labor agreements, and negotiations.Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities.Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.Strong business acumen.Project P/L experience.

    Compensation: Base salary will be $180,000 – $250,000, based on experience.

    Essential Functions

    Prepare the layout of the project.Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.Select materialsWork with blueprints or instructions from supervisors.Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass or drywall.Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair and erect structures.Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.Work on top of stilts, ladders, and the top beams of buildings.Check work along the way to ensure it’s up to code and specifications.Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure.Work with prefabricated buildings.Build stairs, mantles, and furniture.Install cabinets and molding.Remodel businesses.Create structures for pouring concrete.Erect scaffolding.Build tunnel bracing.Build concrete forms for tunnel or sewer construction project.Replace panes of glass, ceiling tiles, and doors.Repair or build furniture.Install partitions, doors, and windows.Move and install machinery.Perform other duties as assigned.Adhere to the MWH safety program.

    Basic Qualifications
