Musick Peeler is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist/E-Billing Appeals in our Los
Angeles office. This is a full-time, on-site, hourly, non-exempt position with a work schedule of
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Qualifications
The candidate must have a minimum of 3+ years of legal billing experience, strong Excel/MS
Office skills, with a deep understanding of legal billing rules (e.g., e-billing & client guidelines),
excellent attention to detail, and superb communication/organizational skills. Direct Aderant or
similar software experience required (such as Elite 3E). Experience with E-billing and appeals
tracking and submission is required. This candidate will report to and work closely with the
Director of Finance. We adhere to a team approach, working closely with billing and collections
team members to reach monthly targets.
Software Experience
Must be proficient in Aderant/ Sierra - or experience with Elite Enterprise, Elite Prolaw,
