Job SummaryWe are seeking an Executive Director to maintain our course and be a great custodian of the assets, resources, reputation, and momentum achieved by MCPC. As a candidate, you are a collaborative communicator and relationship manager who will work closely with our partners and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. You bring your operational experience in healthcare and are committed to our mission of eliminating new transmissions of HIV in Tennessee and Kentucky.

Key relationships for the Executive Director will include: the Board of Directors, the Management Service Organization (MSO) and the Physicians’ Group (PG), major partners such as Avita Pharmacy, LabCorp, Athena, and more, as well as our outsourced G&A partners, government partners, and community partners. The MSO and PG are effectively the staff of MCPC.

Operational Excellence
Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple clinic sites
Collaborate with medical, clinical, and administrative leadership to maintain high standards, Great Experiences by Design, and regulatory compliance
Promote both patient and employee satisfaction alongside continued rapid patient and employee growth
Financial & Resource Management
Develop annual budgets, monitor performance, and be an excellent custodian of MCPC funds and withstand public scrutiny

Community Outreach, Marketing, & Advocacy
As MCPC’s public face, foster relationships with healthcare systems, public health agencies, local and state government, and community groups.
Fulfill ceremonial duties at various major events, including Pride.
Deliver a sophisticated high ROI marketing lead generation strategy and convert interested people into extremely satisfied patients who are adherent with treatment.
Execute effective awareness and visibility campaigns to ensure our brand remains a trusted household name
Implement an effective community engagement strategy to foster partnership, volunteerism, and philanthropy.
Board Engagement
Staff monthly board meetings and provide briefings on established KPIs, financials, risks and opportunities, and corporate objectives
Maintain collegial and supportive relationships with individual board members
Staff Engagement
Cultivate effective and collegial relationships with the Executive Leadership Team
Know your leadership values and evaluate staff performance according to them
Lead internal all-hands meetings such as State of the Clinic and Annual Employee Awards
Location: You will be able to accomplish much of your work from your home office, but you will be expected to be an effective leader across all our locations in Kentucky and Tennessee, so we are seeking someone who will reside in the region. Some evening and weekend work should be expected, especially during Pride month and work-related travel.Qualifications8+ years in executive-level roles within a healthcare setting, with a strong preference for previous 340B and Ryan White experience
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate multiple constituencies and diverse stakeholders
Committed to our mission of stigma-free sexual healthcare and our mission of zero new HIV transmissions
Experience scaling a complex organization in a startup or entrepreneurial environment, ideally in sexual health, HIV care, or community health
Understanding of HIV prevention care continuum and associated regulatory compliance
Experience successfully managing multi-million-dollar budgets, grant writing, donor development, and financial oversight using good business judgment and innovative problem-solving
Exceptional communication and public engagement skills with the ability to cultivate professional and business partnerships
Ability to plan, analyze, evaluate, and make data-driven decisions alongside other stakeholders
Demonstrates integrity, maturity, professionalism, and sensitivity
Has established relationships within LGBTQ+, HIV, or public health organizations
Possesses an MHA, MPH, MBA, MPA, or similar degree. Clinical license (MD, DO, NP, PA, RN) is nice to have
Familiarity with Tennessee and Kentucky healthcare ecosystems and stakeholder groups preferred
Prior experience serving alongside or reporting to nonprofit boards in a leadership position preferred

Medical Assistant
Job Summary
Provides clinical and administrative assistance in the delivery of patient care during the clinic hours of operation and assists with patient cases remotely during non-clinic hours. This role reports to the Clinic Manager and directly assists Medical Providers.
General Responsibilities
Assists with the evaluation and care of patients including:
Manages the Electronic Medical Records system, including taking appropriate action such as monitoring Medical Provider in-boxes, responding to communications and transferring documents to correct locations
Processes prescription refill requests
Acts as first-line of communication with organizational partners as needed and properly and promptly acts on information provided
Performs lab technologist and/or phlebotomy services during clinic hours of operation
Provides general Medical Provider support and assistance including, but not limited to communicating medical results and other information to patients
Identifies volunteer/staff needs and assists in the facilitation of trainings as needed
Works with Clinic Manager and Medical Providers to implement and maintain clinic policies and procedures
Utilizes and promotes infection control measures and universal precautions to maintain high quality of health and safety during clinic operation
Helps perform medical supply inventories
Ensures well-being of patients in the clinic
Maintains a system of confidentiality according to the clinic’s policies and procedures and HIPAA guidelines
Fosters teamwork within the clinic
Prepares supplies and equipment in examination rooms
Completes initial preliminary testing, preparation and information gathering with patients and communicates results to the Medical Provider on duty
Completes other tasks as assigned
Job Qualifications
Must have the ability to observe, document, and communicate lab-related issues, and to exercise independent judgment, well-informed decision-making, and problem-solving
Must demonstrate good communication skills, interpersonal skills, team-building skills, and professional demeanor

LPN
Job Summary
In collaboration with other members of the care team, the LPN provides individualized, comprehensive care consistent with the scope and standards of the specialty
General Responsibilities
Assists with the evaluation and care of patients to be seen by providers including, but not limited to:
Acquiring vital signs and rooming/preparing patients to see clinician
Dispensing medication and STI treatments as per clinician orders
Acts as a liaison between the laboratory, physicians, and patients
Assist with procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed
Assists RN with reporting lab results to patients and the health department.
Assists with yearly Medical Assistant/LPN yearly clinical competencies.
Cleans/stocks exam room
Assists clinic staff and Clinic Managers to monitor inventory levels and verifies receipt of supplies in accordance with established policies and procedure
Assists with phlebotomy and lab specimen processing as needed during clinic hours of operation
Utilizes and promotes infection control measures and universal precautions to maintain high quality of health and safety during clinic operation
Maintains a system of confidentiality according to clinic’s policies and procedures and HIPAA guideline
Fosters teamwork within the clinic
Job Qualifications
Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) for state of practice.
Completion of an accreditedAssist with procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Ability to successfully work with a diverse community and provide services from a non-judgmental perspective
Preferred Qualifications
