In addition to teaching assignments in these areas, the successful candidate would be integrally involved in developing a recruiting plan for the program, planning degree-specific study abroad opportunities, and building partnerships across the campus, community, and music industry. Additional responsibilities include advising majors, overseeing internships, teaching survey courses in rock or country music, and providing additional service to the department as needed.Minimum Education Requirements:College degree required; graduate degrees or coursework and college teaching experience desirable.Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:College degree required; graduate degrees or coursework and college teaching experience desirable but not necessary. Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, digital distribution, and social media. Other experience in the music industry (record company operations, publishing, etc.) will be considered favorably.
