Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician with a strong background in drainage systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems and drainage solutions for both residential and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, and controllers.
- Design and implement efficient irrigation and drainage solutions tailored to client needs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose irrigation and drainage issues.
- Conduct regular system inspections and perform preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Estimate materials and labor costs for projects.
- Manage and maintain equipment and tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Irrigation Technician.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation system components, including pumps, valves, timers, wifi timers, nozzles, and pipes.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting both traditional and 2-wire systems.
- Proficiency in drainage system installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with irrigation and drainage design principles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and irrigation plans.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Irrigation Technician certification (preferred).
- QWEL certified (preferred)
