The Position:
The Business Manager is responsible for the operation and administration of the MSPCA-Angell West facility. The position requires a sound understanding of all MSPCA- Angell program goals, a detailed knowledge of support staff job descriptions, and implementation and relationship to program goals. The position encompasses financial management, staff management, facilities management, and local public relations and development. Strong communication skills are also expected. Responsible for overseeing the Client Care Specialist (front desk) and Client Liaison (call center) support staff and collaboration with all MSPCA-Angell programs.

Lead and co-manage the operations of the MSPCA-Angell West facility with the Chief of Staff (CoS), Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and Technician Manager, including services, non-veterinarian personnel, finances, plant management, and public and community relations.Assist Angell West Chief of Staff with recommending short and long term strategic plans for the MSPCA-Angell West programs.In conjunction with other staff, ensure that MSPCA-Angell West maintains high standards for patient care.Oversee the MSPCA-Angell West facility management, including the buildings and grounds, building equipment, office equipment and all associated warranties, maintenance contracts, and scheduling of preventative maintenance and service/repair visits. Ensure that the facility operates in a safe and efficient manner, as both a work environment, as well as a public facility, as defined by OSHA standards and in keeping with the Society’s policies and procedures. Track all maintenance (expected and unexpected) and PMs on maintenance logs and file service reports. Work with the Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to maintain a safe environment and address concerns.Handles all capital purchases and client service related purchases. Advise and assist the Technician Manager with ordering supplies and equipment for the hospital and maintaining adequate stock.Direct and oversee staff development and maintenance of a complete training/support manual related to all departments/services.Work with the CMO and CoS to evaluate service and product fees, ensure that all fees are being captured according to established policies.Maintain the MSPCA-Angell West transport van and coordinate maintenance, service, and repairs as needed. Ensure annual vehicle inspection is completed on time, and up-to-date documents (such as vehicle registration and roadside assistance) are easily accessible in the van. Work with HR to add all new Client Care Specialist (CCS) and Emergency/Critical Care (E/CC) employees to the auto insurance policy.Train and support the Client Services Supervisor (CSS) and collaborate with them to ensure the tasks below are completed.Manage vendor invoices: review for accuracy, code and file, and submit for payment. Investigation and adjustment of client invoices when warranted. Monthly review of open client invoices. Monthly submission of VISA report for hospital credit card. Submit and file debit slips and expense reports as needed for employee reimbursement.Weekly preparation of Angell West cash/check deposit and addressing any variances noted by the Accounting department daily. Oversee front desk cash handling and ensure adequate change is available.Recruit and on-board new team members for the CCS and CL teams.Compensation:

What You Need:
Minimum bachelor's degree required. A minimum 3 years of experience in customer/client service with at least 3 years of direct supervisory experience. Administrative experience preferred, experience working in a veterinary setting preferred.

THE POSITION:
The Medical Technologist (MT) works in collaboration with the veterinary staff and the Pathology team to provide Angell clientele with high quality clinical and anatomical laboratory services. Performs clinical testing and complex analysis of biological materials. Documents minor repairs and maintenance procedures. Consistently uses available resources to maintain and repair instruments or problem solves assay issues.Processes and prepares specimens for analysis. THE POSITION:
The Specialty Services Float- Assistant or Technician is responsible for working collaboratively within the Department of Clinical Services and with the other services throughout the organization. The position reports to the Director of Operations and offers exposure to a diversity of surgical and medical cases rarely seen in private practice, with an emphasis on high volume spay/neuter and infectious disease control. On average, we see 100 community pets a month and 350 relocated pets, with a goal of increasing capacity, both through adjustments to our physical space, and through technician and veterinarian training. As the Lead Shelter Veterinarian, in addition to providing hands-on care to shelter and community pets, you’ll be supporting new and experienced veterinarians, fostering a positive culture, overseeing administrative functions, and playing a larger role in collaborating with Lead Veterinarians at our three other adoption centers.
The salary range for the lead position is generally $150,000 - $165,000 and can vary based on skill level and experience.

The MSPCA at Nevins Farm, in Methuen, Massachusetts, is a unique 55-acre animal care complex that provides shelter and adoption services for both farm and companion animals as well as a low cost community clinic and community outreach. APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for applicants with at least one year of experience in a customer service/client care position. Previous work or volunteer experience with animals is a plus! Applicants should also demonstrate excellent judgment and interpersonal skills and be eager to work to support the human-animal bond.

THE POSITION:
The Storeroom Inventory Clerk, under general supervision of the Stores Manager, maintains MSPCA-Angell inventory levels in order to meet our current demand. Responsible for making recommendations to the Stores Manager as to any changes in stock status, such as inventory vs. non-inventory, re-order points, etc. Replenishes shelves, and processes orders.
Some of the duties include:
Part of a team responsible for opening the warehouse every morning. This includes printing all new requisitions, opening Purchasing warehouse for deliveries, and processing any inquiries from the previous night.Part of a team responsible for picking inventory items based on requisitions and delivering to departments.Accepts and receives delivered product into inventory and stocks warehouse.Part of a team responsible for researching non-inventory items to ensure proper delivery.Process requisitions for department ordering when the products have been delivered. Maintains back ordered items that are received in daily and processes the orders to ensure timely delivery to other departments.Assists in purchase order review to make additions or deletions based on current on hand inventory.Reports to Stores Manager/Purchasing Specialist when orders contain incorrect, damaged, wrong quantities, or zero-shipped items.Ship UPS/FedEx items as needed.Expected to fill in for Senior Storeroom Inventory Clerk /Stores Manager (excluding supervisory responsibilities or controlled substance management) whenever needed.General housekeeping of work area maintaining a clean and organized workspace; including stocking and stock rotation, especially pharmaceutical products. This includes recovering the order totes at the end of every day.Participates in inventory cycle counts and reviews expiration dates on all products to ensure expired products are removed and handled according to policy, including controlled substances.Creation of bin locations for all new items, especially pharmaceuticals that are approved for stock including labeling, and notating in the purchasing inventory system.Works collaboratively with Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Specialist and Stores Manager to ensure controlled substance policies and procedures are being maintained and followed within government regulations.WHO WE ARE:
