  Job Description: Warehouse Associate - Tier 1 order puller

  Position Details:

  Pay: $19 - $23 per hour depending on experienceSchedule/Hours: M-F: 8-5

  Position Summary:
  Select cases and other containers of industrial products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems. Items are placed in totes and completed orders are moved to the packing staging area with an electric order picker. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

  
  Position Responsibilities:

  Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.Review work schedule, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Perform a safety check on pallet jack/forklift to be used and insure that all other safety devices are functioning properly. Wear required Safety Gear.Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.Place totes in assigned multi-level cart racks and locate products according to order sheets.Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required. Use single and/or double pallets as directed.Transport completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area.Performs other related duties as assigned.

  Qualifications:

  • Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, sometimes including optional overtime

  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift

  • Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing 20–35 lbs. regularly and sometimes up to approximately 60–75 lbs. (location dependent)

  • Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check

Review and verify supporting documents for PO and non-PO invoices. Prepare domestic and international payments, including ACH, checks, and wire transfers. Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Business Units to resolve invoice and receiving discrepancies. Reconcile AP aging reports and vendor statements on a regular basis. Assist with monthly accrual entries and AP account reconciliations. Maintain vendor files, W-9 forms, and 1099 reporting information. Support external auditors and provide requested AP documentation. Ensure compliance with company internal controls and approval policies. Participate in ERP system enhancements and AP process improvements. What You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business 3+ years of accountant working experience Must be a resourceful problem solver, with the ability to prioritize and create approaches to meet required objectives Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
