As a UBC Michigan Carpenter you may erect, install, repair structures, fixtures of wood, plywood, metal studs, drywall, and weld using carpenter hand tools and power tools all while making sure to conform to local building codes
Specific Responsibilities:
Safety, professionalism, productiveInstalling foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, metal studs, and concreteFitting and installing window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim, and drywall instillationErecting scaffolding and being comfortable working at heightsFamiliarization in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials requiredWelding, cutting and pile driving
Preferred Qualifications:
