Purpose: Responsible for instructing student athletes in the rules and fundamentals of men's volleyball; and determining fundamental philosophy, skills, and techniques. Duties: * Plans and implements the operation of the volleyball program * Recruiting men's volleyball players * Share responsibility for administration/implementation of budget spending * Maintains current knowledge and abides by MVCL/NCAA policies, rules and procedures * Maintains necessary records * Monitors eligibility for men's volleyball * Attends NCAA/MVCL meetings, clinics and seminars * Works closely with Sports Information * Responsible for safety of players during games, practice, travel * Purchases and maintains volleyball equipment and uniforms * Makes travel arrangements * Schedules and organizes team related activities * Assists Director of Athletics in hiring assistant coaches * Assists Director of Athletics in hiring officials * Promotes players for recognition * Demonstrates integrity and upholds the values and mission of the University * Maintains relationship with media to enhance promotion of the University * Supports total athletic program * Assists in weight room supervision * Supervise open gymnasium as needed and as permitted by NCAA Bylaws for safety purposes * Event management as assigned by the Director of Athletics * Committee assignments and other duties appropriate to skills and training as assigned by supervisors * Contributes to team effort by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to enhance the services of the division; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed Primary Contacts: Department Director, Associate Director, coaching staff, Athletic Training staff, Recreation Coordinators, Coordinators of Athletic and Recreation Facilities, Administrative Assistant, student employees, Student Development staff, Admission staff, prospective students and families, enrolled students, Registrar, Faculty Athletic Representative, and other members of the University community as well as the local and outside community. The Student Employee will be paid at the end of the semester when the supervisor issues payment. * This position is paid via stipend of $300 semesterly if all requirements are met: * Attend all meetings, as required, with the CAB advisor. * No meetings should be missed by executive board members unless excused by CAB advisor, President, or Vice President. * Members that cannot attend meetings and events must clear it with the President, Vice President, or the Advisor within 48 hours of said meeting or event with the exception of emergency situations. The President, Vice President, or the Advisor has the discretion to determine what is and is not excusable. * Executive Board Members must attend at least 80% of events per semester. * If you are the position planning the event you MUST attend the event. * There must always be at least two Executive board members at all CAB events. * Comply with all constitutional duties and reasonable requests by the President or other Executive Board members. * Remain in good standing with Mount St. Joseph University and maintain a 2.5 GPA. Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester Purpose: To fill in for the president when the President is unable to fill their position duties. Serve as CAB SGA representative at all club representative meetings if the president cannot. Will meet with the bi-advisor weekly. Be in charge of supporting all CAB members with their events. Advertise and execute the hiring of any vacant positions in partnership with the CAB advisor. The CAB Chief of Staff is responsible for: * Ensure the team is submitting event evaluation forms and following up as needed * coordinate a member appreciation event once a semester * coordinate an end of the year party at the end of each academic year * Creation of the Application and ballot * Support the execution of interviews in partnership with the advisor * Creation and follow-up of members evaluations semesterly * Communicate general CAB updates to all members * Shall assist during Orientations and Campus Fair. * Maintain records of all member attendance at meetings and programming events * Recruitment of incoming freshman as well as other Mount students * Assume the duties of the President in the President's absence or if the office should become vacant. * Oversee all operations in coordination with the President to ensure organizational efficiency. * Orient all new members in partnership with the current Executive Board. * Attend all meetings and events. * If one cannot attend meetings and events must clear it with the Advisor within 48 hours of said meeting or event with the exception of emergency situations. The President, Vice President, or the Advisor has the discretion to determine what is and is not excusable. * Meet bi-weekly with the Advisor. * Notify members of all regular and special meetings. Duties & Responsibilities for all Campus Activities Executive Board: * Shall work with the entire executive board to assist with all CAB events as needed * Shall be responsible for setting up, getting ready for events, purchasing or organizing the supplies as needed, and assisting with clean up after said events * Shall be responsible for keeping CAB visible on campus * Shall be responsible for assisting with fundraising events * Shall work with the Chief Marketing Officer to help advertise assigned events, including, but not limited to, getting PR Requests to the official MSJ Marketing office in a timely manner * Shall be responsible for following through on all aspects of the company contracts with the exception of final negotiations, which will be completed by the CAB advisor (signing of document) * Shall be responsible for turning in an event evaluation form to the Vice President within two weeks of an event * Shall work with Campus Police when security is needed for events. * Shall be responsible for turning in all receipts to the Vice President of Operations within two weeks of an event * Must check in all MSJ community members into all events. Position Summary The Clinical Coordinator for Nursing provides site development and coordination of all student clinical placements with facility partners for the pre-licensure BSN and MSN-MAGELIN programs. This individual serves as a vital liaison among the University, clinical facilities, and students, ensuring that all contractual and health requirements are met. Additionally, this role supports the department by serving as a faculty adjunct during high-demand periods. Key Responsibilities Clinical Coordination & Site Development * Placement Management: Provide support to administration and faculty in clinical placement planning and assignment management for designated programs. * Liaison Duties: Serve as the primary liaison between clinical facilities, adjunct instructors, University faculty, and students regarding placement requirements and contractual obligations. * Liaison Representation: Represent the Department of Nursing for the Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS). * Contract Procurement: Procure and secure renewals for clinical contracts with facility partners across all nursing programs. * Faculty Support: Assist the Assistant Dean/Program Administrator in the acquisition, orientation, and evaluation of adjunct clinical faculty. * Compliance Tracking: Develop and maintain health requirement databases for students and adjunct faculty to ensure full compliance with facility standards.
