We are seeking a Class A Regional Driver to join our team immediately to cover our Houston – DFW & Louisiana regional lane.
Responsibilities:
Transport goods by way of commercial tractor trailer hauling mostly dry van and occasionally flatbed trailers, and intermodal containers safely and efficiently from customer to customer from Houston - DFW roundtrip. Occasionally, throughout Texas, LA, including to/from the Ports of Houston.Perform and document daily Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections on vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues.Plan routes using GPS and meet delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery.Utilize ELD or logbook to document hours of duty.Communicate effectively with dispatch.Follow all local and DOT traffic laws and ordinances.Report accidents and/or violations to management immediately as they occur.Compensation:
