    Responsible for maintaining a caseload of victims of alcohol and drugged driving who are in need of short-term crisis intervention, emotional support, grief support groups, and appropriate referral sources for continued long-term needs. Provide court accompaniment and guidance with legal, financial, and medical systems. Work in conjunction with other Victim Services employees to provide consultation and support to victims where needed.

    This is a remote position in which the selected candidate must reside in the Southern Minnesota area.

    The salary for this position is $45,000

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Utilizing independent judgment, conduct individual needs assessments on victims/survivors of alcohol and drugged driving crashes for emotional support, information, and referrals, implementing beneficial interventions based upon those assessments.Maintain current assessment of victim’s coping and need for further referrals.Based upon assessment, create and implement a tailored case management action plan for victims, which may include grief support assistance, crisis intervention, referrals for long-term counseling issues and other basic needs, as well as support group facilitation.May accompany victims/survivors to justice proceedings as appropriate. Provide advocacy by assisting in the protection and exertion of victims/survivors rights and educating others about the criminal and civil justice systems.Conduct community needs assessments and analyze results to determine the development, facilitation, and implementation of appropriate victim services, programs and events.Based upon results of community needs assessments, create and implement effective outreach strategies to reach victims and survivors of drunk and drugged driving crashes who may not otherwise be aware of MADD Victim Services.Utilizing analysis of community needs assessment, establish and utilize a network of key individuals in the legal, medical, and social service systems to facilitate assistance for victims/survivors. Collect and maintain community resource information to share with victims and other Victim Services employees.Recruit, screen, train, deploy, and recognize volunteers who provide assistance in meeting Victim Service initiatives.Maintain accurate case records, statistical information and grant reports for each victim case according to MADD and grant standards and guidelines. May be responsible for grant writing and reporting to grantor and MADD.Other duties as assigned.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor’s degree is required in a human services field of study (i.e. social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice) with a minimum of one year of experience in victim advocacy (specifically case management) OR grief support work (specifically bereaved individuals due to death)Equivalent experience that includes experience in victim advocacy (specifically case management) and/or grief support work (specifically bereaved individuals due to death).Reliable transportation to court attendance is required along with a flexible schedule.Strong organizational skills, be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and execute in a high-volume environment.Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and convey thoughts clearly, logically and concisely both orally and in writing, using appropriate grammar and command of the English language.Ability to work both independently and with others to resolve issues and maintain composure and professionalism in an environment of changing and/or multiple priorities.Must be able to work on a time table, meet deadlines, follow instructions and accept direction on given assignments.Strong work ethic with the ability to maintain a high activity level.Must have exceptional internal and external customer service orientation.Must have demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and be familiar with entering data into on-line systems.     The Office and Events Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing office operations, and assisting with various organizational tasks. This role requires an in-office presence to support staff and handle general office duties. Exudes a positive and friendly disposition and serves as a receptionist.

    This is an in-office position which pays $22/hour at 20-24 hours per week.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-organized and professional environment.Assists the planning, coordinating, and executing events, such as walks and special fundraising events.Ensures consistency in event standards and best practices.Works closely with Program Manager and Advisory Board Members to develop event strategies, secure locations, and ensure successful execution.Manages event-related data in Salesforce.Provides other administrative support as needed to the organizations’ fundraising and other operations to include invoices and other vendor management, bank deposits, Donor Drive, Lexion, and VIP administrative duties.Manage receptionist desk.Inventory, order and stock general office/break room supplies ensuring adequate supplies at all times and delivered to the proper area.Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing them appropriately.Ensure shipments are routed and received to the proper staging area.Support office events, workshops, and staff gatherings.Assist with special projects.All other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The Staff Accountant is responsible for the accounting and financial data for all field offices within assigned states.     RESPONSIBLITIES:

    Review and approve transactional items related to the State, Affiliate and chapter financial activities within assigned states including: AP/AR, fundraising forms, personnel and human resources additions or changes, contracts including grants and leases, cash receipts, cash disbursements and payroll journals, invoices and check requests to ensure compliance with policy.Prepare complex general ledger adjusting journal entries.Ensure that the Affiliates and States assigned are in compliance with all accounting, finance and audit policies and procedures of MADD and all applicable federal and state regulations.Prepare monthly financial statements and tax returns as needed for assigned states.     QUALIFICATIONS:

    Responsible for the development, management and implementation of all initiatives necessary to deliver core MADD programs and services, provide appropriate funding to deliver the services and promote the mission of MADD throughout the assigned states.     This is a remote, work from home position; however the selected candidate must reside in the general Portland area.

    The salary for this job is $100,000 annually.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Identify, contact and develop all sources of funds necessary to continue the operation of the state. On an ongoing basis, continue to develop corporate, community and other contacts to increase funding available for delivery of services and programs. Ensure that appropriate amount of funding to run the multi-state region is available at all times; maintain a balanced budget.Recruit, develop, manage and sustain, in a collaborative effort, a Regional Advisory Board to fulfill MADD’s mission through development of a Regional statewide strategic plan and implementation of core services and programs, based on MADD’s volunteer management model.Develop strategic capacity building plans to enable future growth of mission objectives in the Multi-State Region.In consultation with the Marcom Department, ensure accurate MADD messaging for staff & volunteers to represent MADD to the public, media and other outside organizations. Promote the organization’s mission and initiatives through pro-active outreach to these groups to raise awareness on the part of the public and elected officials.Identify areas within the Multi-State Region where victims are underserved; develop and implement programs to ensure services are available in those areas.Partner closely within each state legislators and Public Policy Department in preparation of recommendations consistent with MADD’s activities.Supervise grant administration, including but not limited to ensuring regular liaison and reporting to grant funder, achievement of annual grant performance objectives through program development and fiscal management of the grant for each state in the region.Recruit, train, develop and provide leadership to employees and volunteers. Ensure that all programs, services and grants are being implemented and managed efficiently, effectively and professionally through establishment of goals & objectives and that employees receive, understand and are held accountable in meeting goals & objectives for each state in the region.Ensure the State and Affiliate organizations within the Multi-State Region are in compliance with MADD policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to the organization’s operation, to include all grant compliance and guidelines.
