DSS will be expected to attend scheduled visits with the individuals. Visits may include any of the following requirements: Assist people served in the handling of money and finances. Provide transportation and assist people served with accessing services in the community. Assist people served with general housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and laundry. Escort individuals to medical, dental, or therapy appointments and assist them in communicating with healthcare providers. Provide medication monitoring and/or administer prescribed medications and treatments. Maintain accurate, daily logs of shifts, tracking progress toward goals outlined in the individuals Individualized Service Plan.
