    Role Overview:

    Transform raw industrial spaces into operational facilities for a high-volume national logistics and distribution hub.Apply high-performance industrial coatings, primers, and epoxies to structural steel, walls, and ceilings.Execute precision floor work, including safety zones and pedestrian walkways, to meet operational standards.




    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    Apply industrial coatings, primers, and epoxies using high-performance airless sprayers.Lay down safety zones, pedestrian walkways, and custom floor stenciling.Operate heavy equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts.Maintain a safe, organized worksite, ensuring adherence to industrial safety standards.Show up on time, ready for job briefing in proper PPE.Must be able to work well with others.



    Skills and Qualifications:

    Proficiency with airless sprayers and industrial pressure washers.Experience operating scissor lifts and boom lifts (certification preferred).OSHA 10/30 safety certification preferred.Physical stamina for field work in all conditions (heat/cold).



    Experience:

    1-3 years of experience in paintingHands-on experience with tools, machinery, and construction equipment (preferred).

    Position Overview

    Morgan Contractors is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations. As a regional leader in facility services, pavement maintenance, and specialty contracting, we need a financial partner who understands the fast-paced landscape of construction accounting and commercial contracting.

     

    The Controller will manage all day-to-day accounting functions, ensure precise job costing, maintain robust internal controls, and provide senior leadership with the financial insights necessary to drive strategic growth and profitability.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Management & Reporting

    Oversee all daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger maintenance.Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and short-term forecasting to maximize working capital.Coordinate the preparation of corporate tax filings and annual financial reviews with external CPA firms.

     

    Construction Accounting & Job Costing

    Manage Work in Progress (WIP) reporting and revenue recognition methods unique to the contracting industry.Collaborate with Estimators and Project Managers to review project budgets, track job costs, and analyze budget-to-actual variances.Oversee the processing of progress billings, schedules of values, and the collection/tracking of lien waivers.Monitor company asset depreciation, internal equipment tracking, and maintenance cost allocations.

     

    Compliance & Internal Controls

    Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, including multi-state payroll and sales/use tax for regional projects.Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.Manage corporate business insurance policies, including Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and commercial auto, while coordinating annual audits.Support compliance workflows related to OSHA reporting, certified payroll, or municipal contract requirements where applicable.

     

    Team Leadership & Process Improvement

    Supervise, mentor, and support back-office administrative and accounting staff.Continuously evaluate, streamline, and automate financial workflows to improve operational efficiency.Maintain and optimize accounting software systems and project management data flows.

     

    Qualifications & Skills

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years serving as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Lead Accountant within the construction, contracting, or facility services industries.Core Competencies: Deep understanding of percentage-of-completion accounting, job costing, and contract retainage. Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

    Position Overview

    Title: Project Manager / Estimator – Parking Lot and Facilities Maintenance

    Company: Morgan Contractors

    The Project Manager/Estimator oversees all aspects of Morgan Contractors’ construction and railroad divisions, including parking lot construction, paving, maintenance, signage, striping, bollards, and railroad facility operations.

    This position is responsible for the complete project lifecycle—from estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and billing to site audits, client relations, and regulatory compliance. The role ensures that all projects and operational sites are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably, while upholding Morgan Contractors’ high standards of quality and client satisfaction.


    Key Responsibilities

    Project & Operational Management

    Plan, organize, and manage all phases of parking lot construction, paving, and maintenance projects.Oversee operations and maintenance at railroad facilities, including LPKC, Argentine Auto, and BNSF/JLL contract sites.Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to ensure projects and daily operations meet safety, quality, and performance standards.Supervise material, logistics, and scheduling for multiple concurrent sites.Ensure accurate completion of daily reports, work orders, and documentation through tracking systems (including daily truck inspections and BNSF daily tasks).Maintain equipment readiness and safety compliance across all field teams.


    Estimating, Budgeting & Job Cost Control

    Prepare accurate cost estimates, material takeoffs, and labor budgets for construction and maintenance scopes.Review site conditions, plans, and specifications to define project scope and pricing.Track expenses and manage job costs to ensure profitability and adherence to budgets.Handle all billing processes, including progress payments, change orders, and final invoicing via QuickBooks or Corrigo.Capture clear before-and-after photos of jobsites for project documentation and billing verification.Provide detailed job cost reporting and variance analysis to leadership.


    Auditing, Compliance & Quality Assurance

    Conduct regular site audits at both construction and railroad facilities (monthly and bi-annual as required).Identify improvement or repair opportunities and prepare client proposals for capital or maintenance projects.Develop 3–5 year maintenance and capital improvement plans to support client forecasting.Ensure ADA compliance, municipal standards, and railroad safety requirements are met across all sites.Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance; lead safety meetings and field inspections.


    Client Relations & Communication

    Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned clients in both the Local and Railroad Divisions.Provide consistent updates, progress reports, and photos throughout the lifecycle of each project.Conduct monthly customer check-ins to ensure satisfaction and identify new service opportunities.Build and maintain long-term relationships through proactive communication and dependable execution.Collaborate with clients to plan preventive maintenance programs and future project scopes.


    Cross-Functional & Team Collaboration

    Support coordination between the Local and Railroad divisions to streamline operations and resource sharing.Assist in developing scopes of work and obtaining executive approvals for general contracting projects.Mentor and support Superintendents, Foremen, and administrative staff to ensure team growth and operational excellence.Participate in company-wide initiatives for process improvement and cost control.


    Performance Metrics

    Completion and accuracy of project and facility audits.Budget and job cost performance vs. targets.Client satisfaction and retention rates.Billing timeliness and accuracy.Safety and compliance metrics (zero-incident goal).Operational efficiency and cross-divisional collaboration.


    Qualifications

    Experience: 7–10+ years of progressive management experience in construction, maintenance, or railroad operations.Knowledge: Strong understanding of pavement construction/maintenance, ADA and signage requirements, and railroad facility management.Financial Skills: Proven ability to manage budgets, estimate projects, and oversee billing and job costing.Leadership: Skilled at managing multiple crews, Superintendents, and projects simultaneously.Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, QuickBooks, and Corrigo (or similar platforms).Certifications: OSHA 30, PMP, or equivalent preferred.


    Work Environment

    Combination of office-based work and frequent field site visits across construction and railroad facilities.Must be able to safely navigate active, dynamic job sites.Occasional night or weekend work required to meet project timelines or client schedules.
