Position Overview
The Facilities Technician is responsible for helping maintain the integrity of the Morgan Autism Center campus. They assist in day-to-day campus operations, maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and student and client arrival/dismissal. The Facilities Technician is responsible for opening the campus up in the morning and closing it up in the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities
Daily and Recurring Operations
Unlock the campus in the morning and lock/close up campus at the end of daySupporting student and client arrival/dismissal (traffic duty)Ensure waste receptacles are put out and brought back in throughout the weekAssist in maintaining the Morgan Autism Center vehicle fleetManage work orders (either by completing them or calling in an outside vendor if needed)Responsible for set-up and take-down for daily program activities and campus events; including after-school, weekend and special events (as needed)Repairs and Maintenance
Ensure a well-maintained facility by proactively reviewing spaces for general repair and maintenance needs (wear and tear - ex. carpet cleaning, lighting repairs, painting) working with the Facilities and Operations Manager, team members and vendors to address issues Help with furniture assembly, installation of appliances, equipment set-up, heavy lifting, and other projectsAssist in maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as maintenance orders for repairs, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, landscaping, gutters, etc.Provide classroom support/check-ins to meet any needs and maintenance of individual classroomsSite Clean-up and Organization
Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor spaces Ensure the campus waste receptacles are put out and brought back inIdentify the proper waste removal facility and remove waste such as paint, electronics, recyclables, organic waste, etc. Supplement grounds and garden maintenance (in collaboration with our existing landscaping maintenance crew) Manage storage solutions in order to properly maintain, service, clean and store equipment and necessary itemsMaintain the tools and equipment necessary to support the maintenance requirements of the organizationOther Job Duties as Required
Be on-call for emergencies, some weekends and holidaysOther duties as assignedQualifications and Employment Requirements:
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age Fluency in speaking and writing EnglishMaintain clearance on TB test and Department of Justice Fingerprint/Background check Must be comfortable working in a school/program environment that serves individuals with autism or other developmental disabilitiesDMV clearance and proof of auto insuranceMust be able to drivePrevious relevant working experience High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems preferredExperience with hand and electrical tools Good communication and interpersonal skills Manual dexterity and physical stamina Basic working knowledge of computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Word/Excel, Google Docs/Sheets, etc.)Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions and responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms and speak and hear effectively. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Position Overview
The Adaptive Skills Trainer Specialist implements instructional and environmental modifications to produce socially significant improvements in the individual’s outcomes through skill acquisition. They should have experience in the area for which adaptive skills training is to be provided.

This position reports directly to an Adaptive Skills Trainer Program Director
Key Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains a supportive relationship with participants Provides continuous supervision for participants to ensure safety and wellbeingImplements a continuum of positive programming activities that are culturally relevant and designed to support participants in maximizing their independence Implements agreed upon strategies to minimize the risk factors related to behavioral or sensory challenges Assists participants in developing a schedule which includes preferred activities and is in cooperation with the participant’s Individual Program Plan (IPP) Assists participants in accessing generic community-based services to enhance their ability to participate in independent living skills, leisure, vocational, pre vocational , social & recreational activities in natural environments as prescribed by the participant’s Individual Program Plans (IPP) and Individual Service Plan (ISP) Uses alternative communication strategies including picture icons, computer programs and other functional and adaptive approaches Responds effectively to crisis situations in the community Communicates effectively and proactively with the Program Director with regard to all participant issues including situations when a participant becomes a danger to self or others, there is a sudden illness or their behavioral plan cannot be implemented as agreed upon Responds to questions and issues raised by Regional Center in a professional manner and updates residential staff, parents and others as needed and within program confidentiality guidelines Respects the privacy of participants and maintains confidentiality of information obtained in the course of professional services as per HIPAA guidelines Documents participant instructional and support services using data collection and participant forms, prepares daily/monthly reports documenting participants’ progress toward ISP goals and objectives. Attends meetings as assigned by the Program Director or their designee, including participant related meetings, monthly meetings and continuing education opportunities Prepares special incident and adult dependent abuse reports as necessary and required by Title 17 regulations Performs first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and other emergency services (e.g. evacuation during a fire) as appropriate to the needs of participants Lifts and transfers participants as necessary; assists participants with transfers in and out of wheelchairs and safely transfers participants in case of an emergency Provide individualized self-care support for all clients, including bathrooming needs, eating, dressing, etc., including use of visual schedules and task analysesPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications and Employment Requirements:

Position Overview
The Special Education Teacher Intern is responsible for the management of their classroom including student and staff management. They design and implement curriculum, student individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior plans, and collaborate closely with parents and other members of the program team including instructional aides, speech therapists, occupational therapists and administration.

Key Responsibilities
Classroom Structure, Curriculum, and Organization
Design and implement enriching and meaningful curriculum and activities focused on functional skills while addressing each student’s IEP goals (community outings, art projects, cooking, special activities) Support classroom team in maintaining ongoing data tracking systems regarding behavior, goal progress, and any other areas needed for all students and provide quarterly progress reportsDesign and maintain effective physical and program organization in alignment with the Morgan Autism Center Model (e.g., daily schedules for students and staff, daily/weekly routines, 15-minute rotation model, and other classroom systems)Support all students and staff in use of multi-modal communication strategies (e.g., visual first-then schedules, task analyses, social stories, daily schedules, AAC devices, basic sign language, and any other supports needed)Provide ongoing support and teaching for all activities of daily living (e.g., toileting, personal hygiene, maintaining safety, and other areas as needed)Maintain and demonstrate the MAC model of positivity, compassion, and collaboration at all timesDirect participation in all daily activities, including physical education, community outings, special events, art, music, etc.Other duties as requiredIEP Development and Behavior Management
