About the position
As Front Office Coordinator, you’ll play an important role as the first face our patients see at the office. The FOC coordinates the patient’s appointments and experience. Reporting to the Office Manager, you’ll provide support and coordination for the patients and the practice team. The FOC must maintain confidentiality with sensitive information, can work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and is highly adaptable.
Responsibilities
Answering patient phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, facilitating patient check in and check out processes including taking paymentUtilizing patient management software to manage patient & insurance info and ensure confirmed patient appointments.Support business goals by scheduling appointments effectively and supporting the practice revenue objectives.Follow and demonstrate commitment to Moorehead Dentistry policies, professional expectations, clinical service excellence, and outstanding patient service.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
High school diploma is required Previous dental or medical front office experience preferredStrong ability to organize information and keep track of steps completed in a processFriendly Customer Service with experience making professional phone callsA heart to care for the patients that we serveSelf-motivated while be able to handle and account for specific tasksAbility to multi-task between phone calls, data entry, and patient interactionHandles fast paced environment with unwavering customer serviceExperience in software including: Microsoft office suite, Windows Mail, Internet Browser, Digital Scanner, Open Dental or similar software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or other healthcare patient management softwareExperience with a digital (VOIP) phone system is a plusExceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detailHigh degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of peoplePosition Details
This is a non-exempt position with an hourly range of $18-24 per hour. Moorehead Dentistry offers pay rates aligned with experience and skills. This position will work out of the Blue Ash, Ohio, office. Hours for this role are Monday, 7:30am-4:15pm, Tuesday – Thursday, 7:30am-5:15pm.

This is a full time (4 day per week) role on Monday - Thursday. One of more years of dental assisting experience at a previous office is required to be considered for the role.
