    POSITION ASSIGNMENT: TITLE: Installation Technician, Level I/ Welder

    RECRUITED BY: Operations Manager or Detention Division Manager

    BASIC FUNCTION: The Installation Technician Level I is to perform activities as required for the installation of all systems and products provided by MTS.

    II. QUALIFICATIONS: Technical College Degree or experience in the installation of security electronic or electrical systems (SE side); or high school diploma (DE side)

    III. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Install conduit, cabling, and field devices for all systems provided by MTS. (SE side)

    2. Install door frames, doors, door hardware (including locks), window frames, glazing, prefabricated wall panels, prefabricated steel cells, and other items provided by MTS. (DE side)

    3. Read technical drawings, diagrams and installation instructions/manuals.

    4. Other duties as assigned.

    We are seeking a skilled Field Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of on-site construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. *Responsibilities* - Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site - Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards - Manage project schedules and deadlines - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work - Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to address any issues that arise - Implement and enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations - Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, blueprints, and specifications - Utilize construction management software such as ProCore for project tracking - Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets industry standards *Skills* - Proficient in budgeting and cost control for construction projects - Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and schematics - Experience with construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam - Knowledge of building codes and regulations - Familiarity with contract management processes - Skill in using tools like an ohmmeter for electrical systems testing

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour

    Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week
