    MISTRAS Group is seeking State Carded RT Assistant for Full time benefited positions at our Texas City, TX location!

    The Assistant Technician will assist the Level II NDE Technician with the designated NDT method activities while gaining experience and knowledge.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

    Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipmentPerform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall upkeep of equipment and facilities.Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.Learn and abide by company policies and procedures.Those hired to perform work as an Assistant Radiographer or Radiographer Trainee are also responsible for the following:May only operate radiographic equipment under the direct visual watch and supervision of a radiographer or radiographic instructor.Maintain constant surveillance and immediate control of industrial radiographic equipment at all times while it is use.Secure industrial radiographic equipment from unauthorized removal at all times, when not tended under constant surveillance and immediate control.Prevent all unauthorized personnel from being within the restricted area boundaries while industrial radiographic equipment is in use.Provide the required notification to appropriate safety management personnel in the event of an incident, and to provide assistance as needed.Capable of being certified as trustworthy and reliable per NRC criteria.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    Major Responsibilities/Activities:

    Strategic Account Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for MISTRAS Group’s high-priority field services accounts, fostering strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.Develop and execute account strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, sales, subject matter experts, etc.) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions that meet client needs.Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities with the largest players in the oil and gas market.     Minimum Requirements:

    · Proven ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.

    · Proven ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.

    · Proven ability to follow and communicate to subordinates precise directions and procedures of the customer on the project.

    · Must possess a valid driver’s license.

    · Ability to generate technical data orally, in writing, and electronically as required and appropriate.

    · 12 months prior NDT experience required.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking certified Level II RT CR/DR Technicians with Rope Access for a full-time position in Baytown, TX.

    The RT Technician performs NDT operations and evaluates results of NDT tests as certified by Mistras Services written practices to routine NDT methods. Inspects piping, tanks and vessels using the method of Radiography.

    Requires Level 2 Certification in CR and DR.

    Rope Access certification required.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

    · Train RT assistant, run the film and grade the film per specific procedures directed by the customer.

    · Perform to set up and calibrate equipment and interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

    · Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job-training and guidance of trainees and NDT level I personnel.

    · Organize and report the results of NDT tests.

    · Generate NDT data, organize data, and report findings. Evaluate data for disposition.

    · Other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    · Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred.

    · Must possess a current ASNT NDE Level II certificate in the NDT method responsible; and possess adequate knowledge in the NDE method responsible.(RT)

    · Proven ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.

    · Proven ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.

    · Proven ability to follow and communicate to subordinates precise directions and procedures of the customer on the project.

    · Must possess a valid driver’s license.

    · Ability to generate technical data orally, in writing, and electronically as required and appropriate.

    · 12 months prior NDT experience required.

    ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

    · Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
