    Banquet Captain

    MISSOURI ATHLETIC CLUB - DOWNTOWN

    JOB OVERVIEW

    Join an amazing team of individuals at the Missouri Athletic Club in Saint Louis, one of the top private clubs in the United States. The MAC has been thriving since 1903 and remains committed to the vision of the original founders: "to be the foremost private club in St. Louis known for attracting exceptional people and enriching lives for generations." We are seeking a highly motivated and service-focused Banquet Captain. This position will be full time.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Oversee banquet event setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring all details align with BEOs, Club standards, and guest expectations.

    - Supervise and train staff on service procedures, product knowledge, and safety policies while maintaining a professional, team-oriented environment.

    - Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff to ensure exceptional service and resolve any guest concerns promptly.

    - Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll, performance evaluations, and inventory control.

    - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards while maintaining proper stock of supplies and equipment.

    - Participate in event planning, proposal creation, and site tours to support sales and client satisfaction.

    - Maintain visibility during events to support staff and ensure a seamless guest experience.



    REQUIREMENTS

    - Excellent guest service skills.

    - Leadership experience.

    - At least two years of serving experience.
