JOB OVERVIEW
Join an amazing team of individuals at the Missouri Athletic Club in Saint Louis, one of the top private clubs in the United States. We are seeking a highly motivated and service-focused Banquet Captain. This position will be full time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee banquet event setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring all details align with BEOs, Club standards, and guest expectations.
- Supervise and train staff on service procedures, product knowledge, and safety policies while maintaining a professional, team-oriented environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff to ensure exceptional service and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll, performance evaluations, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards while maintaining proper stock of supplies and equipment.
- Participate in event planning, proposal creation, and site tours to support sales and client satisfaction.
- Maintain visibility during events to support staff and ensure a seamless guest experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Leadership experience.
- At least two years of serving experience.
