    Role SummaryAs Developer Relations Manager at Lens, you will be the bridge between our Kubernetes engineering community and the Lens product team. You’ll inspire and grow a passionate developer community, create technical content, represent Lens at conferences and online, and help users get the most out of their experience. Your work will amplify Lens adoption, build trust with practitioners, and drive feedback into product development. Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity EngagementFoster an inclusive, active community of Lens users through forums, Discord, GitHub, and social platformsIdentify, nurture, and collaborate with Lens Champions and power usersOrganize and participate in meetups, webinars, and community eventsContent CreationProduce blogs, demos, tutorials, and videos showcasing Lens use cases and best practicesDevelop example Kubernetes projects and templates to help users start fastCreate and maintain technical documentation in partnership with product and engineeringEvangelism & Developer AdvocacyRepresent Lens at conferences, hackathons, and industry events (e.g., KubeCon, Microsoft Build)Deliver talks, workshops, and live demosServe as the voice of the user internally, collecting feedback and advocating for improvementsCollaboration & Feedback LoopWork closely with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to surface user pain pointsHelp shape roadmap priorities with real-world developer insightContribute to onboarding experiences and in-product education initiativesQualifications

    Proven experience in Developer Relations, Advocacy, or Community ManagementStrong background in Kubernetes, DevOps, or Cloud Native toolsPublic speaking experience and comfort presenting to technical audiencesExcellent writing skills with a portfolio of blog posts, videos, or tutorialsAbility to code and build sample projects using Lens and KubernetesExperience growing open-source or technical communities is a strong plus Nice to HaveExperience with content performance metrics and developer-focused KPIsFamiliarity with GitHub, Discord, YouTube, and community platformsPrior experience with freemium developer products or PLG motion Why Join Lens?Lens is the most popular IDE for Kubernetes, used by hundreds of thousands of developers and platform engineers.
